If you haven't already, find a lawyer willing to work pro bono - I'm sure there are a number out there in JREFLand - at least to give you pointers. She has some sort of "church" she may be able to hide behind, but I think that might also be an angle towards which you can point and openly criticize - how does one "libel" a religion, after all!

I have no history of SB in terms of whether she's litigious, but Claus has already pointed out that she has a nasty streak!

Claus has already done a look at her predictions for the next 100 years, and I'm going to guess he has stacks of goodies on her current stuff, but because she shows up everywhere and can claim "x" number of hits in all her personal readings, she can muddy any statistics you throw at her. "Well, yes, I missed 9/11, but I got two boils in Bucharest right in separate personal readings, so that offsets the miss."

Finally, I note from your profile that you're computer savvy. Watch the website. As Claus pointed out, she linked her site to a scurillous site accusing JR of being a paedophile once! I wouldn't worry about direct hits. I'd worry about the minions who may try to overload you.

Browne, who had just announced that John McCain would run against John Kerry in the next presidential campaign, was relieved to hear from Noory that all but one of the miners was alive.

Noory: "Had you been on the program today, would [you] have felt if — because they heard no sound — that this was a very gloomy moment — and that they might have all died?"

Browne: "No. I knew they were going to be found. I hate people that say something after the fact. It’s just like I knew when the pope was dead. Thank God I was on Montel’s show. I said, according to the time, it was 9-something and whatever Rome time was. And I said he was gone, and he was."

But the situation was fluid, something Browne — ahem! — obviously didn’t sense despite her claims of being able to speak to the dead, among other things. She couldn’t have imagined that within a short time, the entire story of the miners would change completely — and make her look very foolish indeed.

Noory soon announced that there were new reports that all but one of the miners was dead.

Browne — who was still in the studio taking questions from listeners — had to say something. Now she was just riffing: "I don’t think there’s anybody alive, maybe one. How crazy for them to report that they were alive when they weren’t!" Then she added: "I just don’t think they are alive." She cleared her throat, and there was a deafening pause.

Noory went to a commercial.

Returning from news and commercials for their last segment together, Noory tried to dig Browne out of her hole with a softball question. He asked: "With your accuracy rate so high ...."

Browne answered by injecting a non sequitur. Her earlier proclamation that she’d always known the miners were alive had obviously been worrying her.

She blurted: "I didn’t believe that they were alive."

Noory: "What’s that, the miners?"

Browne: "Yeah, I didn’t think — and see, I’ve been on the show with you, but I don’t think there’s any that are going to make it."

Noory: "They say there are 12 gone. I think we threw you a curveball, we were telling you after the fact."

Browne: "Yeah, no, I did believe that they were gone."

I have been unable to find Sylvia's predictions for 2001, but here are her Predictions for the Year 2000

35. Gwyneth Paltrow marries an older man who is in the entertainment business, but not as well known as she.
36. David Letterman decides to call it quits from his nightly late show after this year.
37. John Travolta has to be very careful flying his plane in February.
38. Donald Trump buys another large hotel and goes into partnership with someone very well known in a production company.
39. Neither Warren Beatty nor Donald Trump has any success in politics.
40. Courtney Cox will get pregnant this year and have a baby boy.

Celebrities are more important than 9/11.

From what I can gather, it was a list of predictions for 1999 that Sylvia tried to attribute as predicting 9/11. Apparently, shortly after 9/11, there was a pop-up which would appear when visitors went to Sylvia's site, which claimed Sylvia was "not ominiscient", and that her predictions which were made in 1998 for the year 1999, foresaw 9/11. I am unable to find the actual list of predictions, but according to a few sites, the actual prediction was for a terror attack in Florida and London. And, again, it was for 1999. How Sylvia connects this to 9/11 must take quite a leap of imagination.

Anyway, the pop-up apparently also had some leads for the police to follow regarding the aftermath of 9/11:

Osama bin Laden and another group is behind the attack;
Be aware of "Triad of Jordan" and "Palestinian Republic of Bundi";
A weapon or bomb known as the "Z" was involved with the aircraft;
Two names to watch for (phonetic spelling) - Mohammed Karema and Zehar Mentusi.

Sylvia did not get advance warning because she is not omniscient. Her list of predictions in 1999 warned of terrorism, but clearly the timing was wrong. Please pray for the wellbeing of the victims and their families, and focus your anger on helping other people rather than seeking revenge.
