Midwestern Skeptic's Meeting? Chicago?

I'm getting married on the 27th. I'd offer to host the party, but I'm not sure I could afford feeding all of you.
There will be an awesome band.....

Sure.

I might actually get there this time....*grumble*

I hope to meet you, treb...

Without knowing for certain, May 13th sounds like a workable day. However, my official calendar (my wife), is unavailable at the moment.

I'm a newbie to driving around downtown Chicago, so are there any interest in meeting in the Schaumburg area? Better yet, does anyone care to carpool? I'd need some serious guidance with directions. I get lost driving to and from the airport, and I work for a big old airline. :o

13th huh? I'll be there.

Ginos again? Do you think they'd let us bring spraypaint?

I'd be in favor of some activities either before or after or both. Can't really think of anything terribly exciting off hand, but I know a few good bars that are between my house and Ginos. Well, they might be out of the way a bit. But they're still good.

Who wants to pick me up? If you were looking down from the skies, I'm literally on the corner of the Elgin-O'Hare and Plum Grove Road (Schaumburg/Roselle area). :)

I say we go party with Phillip. He knows some place down Wells where all the *rule 8"s will suck your *rule 8* until you're all like "Oh *rule 8"!" and you *rule 8* all over their eyebrows.

(inside joke, btw. I don't actually talk like that)

But if you're near O'Hare, could you just jump the Blue Line? Last time I took it from Logan Square (where I live) to Grand. And I plan on doing that again. It's about a 6 block walk from Grand.

I highly recommend it.

I'll try to be there. I'm not from here. I don't know what the Blue Line IS. I'm from Indiana, originally. Fun is fun, I suppose.
