Weaponized peer-pressure

While I still don't know what the OP is talking about (because he didn't talk about it, but mindlessly linked to a faceybooky post), I think peer pressure is a good descriptor. My peers are those who value science, individual well-being, and the common good. I want them to pressure me to do what is scientificly sound, to my personal benefit, and in the interests of the common good. If they have to beat me over the head with it like a weapon (it is needed on occasion), that's cool Weaponize that action.

Carl Nielsen is a plus, i'll give you that, but still; Denmark? And it's too small. I'm claustrophobic. Why, oh why, did they (oh, you know who they are) pressure me to get the vaccine?!? I had better report it to VAERS; life threatening side effect, turned Danish. Am choking on my own tongue when I try to speak.

Since OP was apparently just kidding about having something to discuss and has returned to staring vacantly at a screen somewhere, can we repurpose this thread to talking about dogs?

My last dog was the Best Dog of All Time, fluent in at least three latin based languages, a couple Saxon, and a smattering of East Asian pleasantries. At least she knew what I wanted when speaking in them. She protected her people fiercely from invaders (like the mailman) and gave her people unconditional.love and loyalty, even alerting me when one was sick or needed help.

When she passed to Doggie Heaven, Karma decided to even the scales and paired us with a sweet girl that is dumb as a rock and catlike self-absorbed in the extreme, with little regard for what her people want. Literally the most vacuous thing I've ever seen on four legs. She's like the youtube or Facebook post of dogs.

Jeg ved ikke, hvad det betyder for ikke-hvide europæere.

Og så er der waliserne. Jeg er ikke overbevist om, at de er fuldt ud mennesker. I hvert fald ikke mere end folk fra East Anglia. Der er langt flere finner, svømmefødder og gæller, end jeg bryder mig om som et rendyrket menneske, der på ingen måde – ikke engang en lille smule – minder om en fisk.
