Almost nobody considers themselves to be the bad guy. Based on everything we know, even *ahem* Adolf thought himself to be the hero who saves the world. That much is true.

Of course, the counter to that to any rational person would be to present the SOUND argument for why EQUITY is better than EQUALITY. You know, instead of being another demented puppy barking "RACIST!" or "FASCIST!" at the mailman, just because that's fashionable in the echo chamber of demented puppies barking at the mailman. I'm still waiting for that to happen. It hasn't so far, but I have hope it eventually will.

I swear that the "progressive" movement's answer to "would you jump of a bridge if all your friends did?" has gradually gotten to the point where their answer is some form of, "Hell yea! I would fight them off to be the first to jump, and with a 10 ft long noose around my neck for maximum virtue signalling."

Look, it's basic burden of proof. If you make the positive claim that there is something better about EQUITY than EQUALITY, you get to present the evidence for it. It's not my job to prove a negative

That doesn't make any sense. Equality is about treating everyone fairly. Equity requires treating people differently, i.e., just an excuse for racist bigotry.

If we could just get rid of everybody who interprets DEI as reverse racism or whatever, the problem would be solved. The world would be more diverse, equitable, and inclusive, and that would be a Good Thing.

No, the world needs an EQUAL workforce, not the current definition of EQUITY which means taking opportunities and resources from a race who you think (in a narrow part of the world) had a historical unfair advantage and giving them to one who you think has been historically at a disadvantage. Again, if you agree to the premise of EQUITY instead of EQUALITY, then the 1930's german racial laws seem based on valid logic.
