The Truth about RFK Jr

After testifying under oath he didn't go to Samoa for vaccination reason they found documents that show he did just that. Again, nobody in this administration can be trusted at any time under any circumstances.

At Beyond the Noise Paul Offit wrote, "Subsequently, we have learned that one of the two measles deaths was an infant who died shortly after birth due to splenic rupture. The coroner reported detecting measles virus in lung tissue. Given that congenital measles infection can cause splenic enlargement and thinning of the splenic capsule, it is likely that the child ruptured the spleen during birth." Dr. Offit went on to give five reasons why the Pennsylvania measles outbreak is about to become worse.

At Unbiased Science, Jess Steier and colleagues wrote, "The “died with it, not from it” framing often gets treated as a gotcha. Let’s unpack what those phrases really mean. Infections often kill through the complications they cause rather than by appearing alone on a death certificate. So a death by complication is still a death from the disease, even when it’s officially classified as “associated with” the disease. For example, measles most commonly kills through pneumonia or encephalitis, where the infection sets off the cascade that ends in death. But that same principle can’t be stretched to settle every case automatically, either. A spleen injury during birth is very rare. While the measles virus can inflame and damage the spleen, the mechanism by which that might lead to a laceration isn’t well established in the medical literature. The role that measles played in these two deaths is a question the clinical and forensic evidence will have to answer, and that evidence isn’t all public yet. One thing isn’t in dispute. This baby had measles, acquired before birth, and no newborn is eligible for the MMR, which isn’t routinely given until 12 months (but can be administered as young as 6 months in an outbreak). Whatever the coroner concludes about the spleen, an infant was infected because measles is circulating in a community that no longer has enough protection to stop it."

At Beyond the Noise Paul Offit went into the details of the infant who died in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Dr. Offit wrote, "What do we know? We know that this infant was infected with measles while in the womb; we know that the infant died of splenic rupture; we know that measles infections can increase splenic fragility leading to rupture; and we know that splenic rupture is extraordinarily rare in newborns. It’s understandable that Dr. Diamantoni is cautious about determining why this child died of splenic rupture given its rarity. Nonetheless, if Dr. Diamantoni is going to claim that measles wasn’t the precipitating cause of this child’s death, he is going to have to do a much better job of explaining why it wasn’t."

At Substack Dr. Ryan McCormick wrote, "Note that the Pennsylvania pattern is familiar: a procedural quirk or delay in how a death is classified gets converted into a claim that the death didn’t happen, or didn’t count. We saw the same weak but effective maneuvers employed on Covid mortality statistics, and even on the two Texas children who died of measles complications last year."

Kasie Hunt: Over the summer you said, “There’s no vaccine that’s safe and effective”. Do you still believe that?

RFK JR: “I never said that.”

As always when caught in bald-face lie, it's always "taken out of context".

The New York Times reported, "The new director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention [Erica Schwartz] ordered agency officials to challenge two measles deaths reported by Pennsylvania, shunning the agency’s normal procedure of accepting data shared by states and amplifying comments made by her boss, Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. The incident draws the C.D.C. into a highly political disagreement about whether the deaths were a result of measles or merely coincided with the infection, echoing similar disputes over causes of death during the coronavirus pandemic.

◊◊◊◊ her, him and them.

At Respectful Insolence Orac wrote, "So, even in his lies that his trip was to introduce a medical informatics system, RFK Jr. obliquely admitted it was about the vaccines. Worst of all, in his testimony before the Senate, RFK Jr. lied like the proverbial rug repeatedly, always claiming that his trip had nothing to do with vaccines. Clearly it did, just on the basis of that January 2019 letter alone."

Certainly the Nauruan government thought it was.

The Guardian reported, "Autism groups and researchers have reacted with alarm to a federal research roadmap drawn up by advisers handpicked by the US health secretary, Robert F Kennedy Jr, fearing it will promote unproven fringe therapies at the expense of promising genetic research. A slew of scientific bodies and groups within the autism community are warning that the 336-page plan risks deflecting federal dollars away from potentially groundbreaking genetic research in favor of unreliable alternative therapies."

The story continued, "Among the plan’s proposed $270m target specifically for research spending is $15m towards studies of folate biology. This follows a surge of interest in leucovorin or folinic acid, a derivative of vitamin B9 that is commonly prescribed for cancer patients...The Guardian reached out to Rossignol to ask whether there was a potential conflict of interest in his role advancing leucovorin use for autism and his membership in a group that has just proposed major research funding for the therapy. He said he had complied with all federal ethics guidelines “and any potential conflict was disclosed and addressed through the required ethics process”."

Bash: "How are you preparing for the next pandemic? That's part of your job now."

RFK Jr.: "We did almost everything wrong."

Bash: "But what about now?"

RFK Jr.: "We need to protect our constitutional rights."

Bash: "What does that mean?"

RFK Jr.: "During COVID, we dismantled our rights completely."

Bash: "But I'm asking what should be done during a public health crisis."

RFK Jr.: "You were part of the problem."

Bash: "Do you want to sit here and attack me?"
