US measles epidemic.

Which are?
Importation of cases from USAia and vaccine resistance, encouraged by USAians.

Here you go:

Here you go:
Nothing in your link indicates that the cases were imported from the USA rather than somewhere else. In fact, the only named source in its reference is Europe, so on what basis do you conclude that the USA is the source? And how do you import a higher infection rate than the source? That seems... unlikely.

I see you didn't engage with the spillover from USAian anti-vax nuttery......
In Canada the majority of measles (and rubella BTW) cases are in Alberta (linked to right-wing anti-vax nuts encouraged by the MAGA and related scum) and Ontario (linked to the idiotic god botherers such as the Mennonites).

Those God damn Mennonites.

I see you didn't engage with my point about your evidence free claim of the import source.

CDC adds 211 new cases to accelerating US measles outbreak (CIDRAP, Aug 21, 2026)
The rapidly rising US measles outbreak grew to 2,777 cases today as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) confirmed 211 new infections in its weekly update.
The increase is more than double that seen last week, when the agency added 101 cases to the total, after adding 94 the week before. Most of this week’s cases are in Pennsylvania and Ohio.

Map of measles cases among U.S. residentsas of August 20, 2026

🇺🇸
Canada has had 1,116 cases in 2026. So it's almost 7 cases per million in the US, and almost 27 cases per million in Canada.
Is Trump to blame for Canada's measles outbreaks?
Trump's not even to blame for Mexico's measles outbreaks!
Are you happy now?!

Everything he says in this interview is so bizarre: why does he say Canada and Mexico have lost their Measles elimination status too like that’s a counter point?
Other people are incompetent too? Yeah we’re pretty angry about it in Canada.

Jay Bhattacharya on measles-
“I did my best.”
Jay Bhattacharya refuses to take responsibility for his failures with measles (Jonathan Howard on YouTube, Aug 9, 2026 – 2:37 min.)

ETA: 🇨🇺, according to Google AI:
Cuba has maintained high measles elimination standards with routine vaccination coverage consistently exceeding 99%. Endemic measles transmission has been successfully interrupted since 1993, with only rare, isolated imported cases reported (such as a single case during a regional uptick in 2019) rather than ongoing outbreaks on the island. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Vaccination and Public Health Structure
    • Immunization Schedule: The UNICEF supported national program delivers the MMR vaccine in a two-dose schedule, given at 12 months and at 6 years of age. [1]
    • Coverage Rates: Childhood completion rates remain well over 99% due to universal, mandatory, and free preventative public health services managed via local community health networks. [1, 2]
    • Surveillance: The national health system maintains active epidemiological screening for any fever-and-rash illnesses to rapidly isolate and test for potential imported cases. [1]
It remains to be seen if Trump manages to ruin Cuba's success in this respect in comparison to the three North American countries.

Stammering Dr. Oz forced to fact-check Trump amid brutal on-air grilling (RawStory, Aug 23, 2026)
The administrator for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services was unable to avoid refuting Trump's recent claim amid an on-air grilling from Margaret Brennan on "Face the Nation."
After much dodging, Oz admitted, "The MMR vaccine is not a lethal vaccine."

Trump won't be happy, so what happens now?
Will Dr. Oz be Faucied by the MAGAlytes?

Each measles case in 2025 US outbreak cost almost $60,000, study estimates, or $134 million total (CIDRAP, Aug 20, 2026)
Each measles case in the 2025 US outbreak—the largest since the disease was eliminated from the country in 2000—cost $43,200, rising to $58,600 when including the public health response, Johns Hopkins researchers estimate in Vaccine.
Multiply that by the 2,289 confirmed US cases last year, and the total rises to $134 million, which would not, of course, include unreported cases. And this year’s outbreak, which last week reached 2,566 cases, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), would so far cost more than $150 million.
You can vaccinate a lot of kids for $150 million.

Two people in Pennsylvania have died from measles, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Health, the first US measles fatalities of the year. In 2025, the country saw three measles fatalities, including two school-age children in Texas.

Both individuals who died were unvaccinated and resided in Lancaster County, where there have been 185 cases in 2026, making it one of the largest measles outbreaks in the United States this year. In total, Pennsylvania has had 393 cases in 2026, the third-highest tally in the country.

Maybe it should be in Conspiracies and Conspiracy Theories instead, but since it's the secretary of Health and Human services ...
RFK Jr. says Shapiro’s office may have fabricated measles deaths (Politico, Aug 26, 2026)
Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. suggested Wednesday an aide to Pennsylvania’s Democratic governor, Josh Shapiro, may have fabricated two deaths from measles in an attempt to score political points.
Kennedy’s statement, in an X post, came as part of an escalating feud between the health secretary and the governor since Pennsylvania’s health department announced two “measles-associated” deaths Tuesday.

'Clear link' between anti-vaccine rhetoric and measles outbreaks (MS NOW on YouTube, Aug 27, 2026 – 8:47 min.)
MS NOW Senior Reporter Josh Einiger says the White House's rhetoric over vaccines has a "clear link" to the drop in vaccination rates and the rise in measles cases nationwide. 2026 has seen the most cases of measles in the U.S. in 35 years.

4:52–> There was an event in Tampa today with Florida Senator Ashley Moody, RFK Jr. said, quote, "We're doing a better job than any country in the world in controlling the measles outbreak."I don't really understand that.
First of all, we didn't have a measles outbreak in the United States. This was largely an eradicated disease.
It is such a blatant lie that he can't possibly actually believe it!
As mentioned in post 147, there are countries, piss-poor countries, where measles have been and still remain eradicated.

6:14–> But the experts are saying that there's a clear link between the rhetoric over the last five years and the lack of vaccinations since then.

More a refusal to accept reality, combined with abysmal ignorance, than an outright lie, IMO. This POS is so imbued of his importance that he is believing in his infallibility.

The return of the "crisis actors" defence.
If it weren't for the fact that one of actors was much too young to act:
Newborn one of 2 measles-associated deaths in Pennsylvania (CIDRAP, Aug 27, 2026)
One of the two unvaccinated people in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, who died with measles was a newborn, but the exact cause of death is unclear.
According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Lancaster county coroner found that the infant died shortly after birth from a laceration of the spleen. He said that a postmortem test on the baby’s lung tissue showed that the child had a measles infection acquired before birth.

Shapiro, Kennedy spar
But maybe MAGA can accuse the mother of deliberately having contracted measles to provoke a postpartum 'abortion'.
