Apollo 11 Moon Landing Revisited: Hoax ~vs~ Debunk

How did they guess where to put the Earth? That's hardly difficult is it?
No, that's not the question. I think I need to remind the eidetic triple-niner that the question was the weather patterns on Earth.

Come on, quit stalling. Show us your evidence it was fake. Chop-chop, the normal people are waiting for you.

So here is NASA's image of the Sun. AS12-46-6739 (Apollo 12)

View attachment 73779

Compare and contrast to threadworm's image of the Earth from the surface of the Moon.

But from the Moon, the Sun and the Earth should both appear as the same size. (Otherwise, how can there be a solar eclipse..?).

Poe re-joins the chat: Is this deliberately wrong to provoke reactions and thereby distract from the question not answered, or is it just plain old wrong?

The Earth appears considerably larger than the Sun when viewed from the Moon.

Yet another thing to show you don’t know what you’re talking about.

The "fact" that stars are too difficult to accurately depict in the photos is evidence of a hoax; so what does that say about the ability to accurately depict actual weather patterns?

Here's the facts, rather than the would could and should. In 1958 Eisenhower military commander of the US and Allied Forces set up NASA to compete against the Soviet commies in the Space Race.
Your first fact is incorrect, a fancy word for wrong. Ike was the President, and while he's technically the commander and chief he cannot spend money, create a budget, or much else. Congress does that. Congress (back then) governed by the will of the people, and Americans made it clear to their congressmen that living under a Soviet moon was not an option. So off into space we went.

It was real. Real research. Real experts. Real training. Real development of rockets. JF Kennedy pledged they would land on the Moon before the end of the decade.
And we did. Apollo 11 was two years late thanks to the Apollo 1 fire, and delay. We could have landed much earlier.

Since 1969-74, it has been at least twenty years to develop the current space programme.
Mostly due to political reasons. Priorities, and money went elsewhere. But our second robot on Mars is still hard at work, we've collected mineral samples from a moving asteroid, and returned them to earth, and all kinds of fun space stuff...because we can.

China doesn't think it'll be ready until 2030.
That should tell you all you need to know about China. For all of their PhDs, they could have been sending men into space from 1985 onward. They have issues. Mostly related to wait unti the US developes something that they can steal, and back-engineer.

By the end of the 1960's, there was no way they were going to send the All-American Golden Boy veterans of the Korean War to near certain death despite all their best efforts.
Sure there was. It's called, "SCIENCE". Manned space flight is dangerous. Danger is kind of our thing.

Aldrin turned to drink and Armstrong became a recluse.

Do the maths.
Okay, here's the the math: Aldrin suffered from depression, which ran in his family. His mother committed suicide in 1968, and his grandfather ended his life years before. So the math in Aldrin's case was he led a rough life before and after NASA.

Armstrong wasn't a recluse, he just didn't feel it was right to cash in on Apollo 11, and the first-man-on-the-moon hype. He could have had anything, high paying media jobs, high paying consulting jobs, he could have sat as a paid member on multiple corporate boards while doing nothing but playing golf with potential clients, he could have been a congressman, senator, governor, and even President. Instead, Armstrong walked away from NASA, taught collge for a few years, and ran his small farm. Cashing in on Apollo 11 was not an option for him because he didn't go to the moon alone, and that 400,000 people had busted their butts to get Apollo 11 to the moon, and back, so cashing in would have been disrespectful of their work.

Neil Armstrong is considered a hero not because he was the first man on the moon, but because he did his job, and resisted the temptations which followed. He was a man who lived by a code of ethics. This is something sorely missing today.

Correction: the Sun is equidistant to the Moon and Earth. Therefore, the earth being 3.66 times the size of the Moon should appear apx this much larger than the Sun as viewed from the surface of the Moon pics.
You aren't looking at the sun. You're looking at a lens flare.

But that's a distraction. You're supposed to explain how a pre-shot "training photograph" got the weather patterns so right on the day, and giving us evidence of how you think it was done.

Quit stalling. Quit distracting.

Far more damning to your fantasy even than the thousands scientists and engineers who worked directly on the Apollo Program, who should all be educated enough to know whether their work is supposedly impossible, are the many millions worldwide who have knowledge of the science and engineering behind said missions.

Again, it's not like you and the sources you're parroting have access to any actual documentation supporting the idea that there was a conspiracy. You are merely inferring such a conspiracy based on your erroneous beliefs about the science and engineering, despite having a grossly inadequate education regarding those subjects as constantly demonstrated by such howlers as thinking that reduced gravity instantly makes one's muscles proportionately weaker, that radiation exposure makes someone radioactive themselves, that water is a product of electrolysis or that the earth always appears gibbous from the moon. Whereas those millions of people around the world who actually understand these fields of learning have maintained an overwhelming scientific consensus that Apollo was real for generations, not because "Nixon said so", but because they actually understand not only how it was done, but why the conspiracy theorists' claims are merely really stupid arguments based on ignorance and an arrogant need to believe they're among the very few too clever to be fooled.

That's why you don't want to talk about this. Because even you know how silly it looks if you openly admit that you're pretending to be smarter than virtually everyone in entire fields of science, and no matter how much you pretend to be erudite and scholarly concerning science and technology, the notion that in a debate between scientific consensus and someone who, regarding the subject at hand, is little more than a poorly educated cat toy on an obscure forum for those interested in critical thinking, you lose comprehensively.
Nice attempt at changing the meaning of my words, quoting me out of context and putting words in my mouth.

For you and others it's a game of semantics but playing on words can never change a fundamental truth.

I understand. It goes to the heart of your core beliefs so I don't blame you for clinging onto them.

If Neil Armstrong had become a media darling and cashed in on his fame, hoax peddlers would claim the reason for him to keep quiet about what he knew was to keep the gravy train going. When he didn't cash in on fame? Also the reason why he kept quiet about what he knew.

You say it's a still from the original but the original has been lost or wiped by NASA.

Please stop with the triple-niner and eidetic jibes. I only mentioned those to correct certain persons making out I was backward and suffering from a terminal illness.
