Maybe they didn't need to adapt the film that much if it wasn't being done on the Moon anyway. And if "the experts in camera film", who NASA were working with, could do this, why wouldn't NASA know anything about it?

Now we are getting somewhere. If TETRA was not used to transmit TV from the Moon, then it follows those images weren't coming from the Moon.
I believe they followed the cow.Surely Armstrong and Aldrin could see where the Moon was?
Many a true word...I don't know why everyone is confused. It's simply a matter of travelling 250,000K miles in your thin-walled aluminium capsule, setting up your dusty old Hasselblad in the pitch black of a crater on the side of the Moon that has never had any sunlight, move the gearr stick around a little bit to adjust the settings provided by the Ektachrome bods for the magnitude of your camera lens, and have the photos relayed to earth on a non-GEO positioned satellite.
Kemo sabe?
Because she's never actually used a camera. Why did you need to Google something so fundamental to an argument you have been making for over two months?
Wrong. That is not the correct logic.
Even by your low standards this is a pathetic attempt at deflection.<Snippage of gibberish>
Totally impossible to have calculated that level of information before modern computers!Conspiracy theorists object that it would be too hard/impossible to determine where the positions of the moon, sun and planets would be relative to the celestial sphere at a certain time simply because they don't personally know how to do it, and the idea that anyone else knows how to competently do something that they don't is anathema to them.

Do you know what would have happened to the LM if the engine had been switched off before Armstrong tried to manoeuvre it?Many a true word...
Actually Armstrong moved his joystick (settle down at the back) to avoid landing in a crater, the engine having been switched off, and Buzz reading out the altitudes, as though landing a fighter jet.
No wonder it's every little kiddies' dream.
Irrelevant. But the Kodak/Ektachrome bods knew in advance where the photography was to take place
No. This is further stupid attempts at deflection.Your logic is rather like saying a bunch of soldiers were unable to reverse their tank because it didn't have a 'reverse' gear.
Oh good grief....So, whose is responsible for that?
Further puerile attempts at deflection.Ha ha ha![]()
As if Ektachrome wasn't one of the most popular camera film amongst the public. Hence, why hobbyists chose Ilford, the photographer's film of choice. (Rather like the real ale bods and CAMRA [geddit? See what I did there.])
Why would they need to "adapt" it? Do you think taking photos in constant sunlight using 160 ASA film presents some sort of problem?Maybe they didn't need to adapt the film that much if it wasn't being done on the Moon anyway.
Strawman. But if you can make an uneducated guess 'it is 30% brighter', why couldn't the experts in camera film?
Strawman.Stop bringing in your ubiquitous explains-all radio waves.
Only to extremely stupid people. Now we are getting somewhere. If TETRA was not used to transmit TV from the Moon, then it follows those images weren't coming from the Moon.
Remember, things can only be looked at in isolation. What, precisely, didn't they know?
No, more of @Vixen's childish nonsense. Many a true word...

"Hold it, we're heading for a crater. Better turn off the engine so we can manoeuver."Many a true word...
Actually Armstrong moved his joystick (settle down at the back) to avoid landing in a crater, the engine having been switched off...
JFC. Absolutely hopeless...So, now that we are all on the same page, tell us which satellite was used to beam TV images to earth, and whilst you are busy, the logistical steps by which to set it up for that exact time and place.
Really? Fighter pilots call out the altitude to one another during landing? This would be news to fighter pilots. Military helicopter crews do this as their rotorblades kick up dust, and an extra pair of eyes comes in handy. Coincidentally, the lunar surface kicks up dust from the rocket engine of the LM during landing, the ALL the Apollo crews trained to do this.Buzz reading out the altitudes, as though landing a fighter jet.
