When you label ordinary political difference as "fascism", you encourage and excuse political violence.

i think it's fair to say, as a factual statement, that trump and maga which checks a bunch of boxes on the defining features of fascism, and charlie kirk was a propagandist forwarding the trump and maga agenda. maybe we should avoid talking about these uncomfortable truths so the next charlie kirk can do his job safely, maybe not. i leave that up to the reader

i don't think the size of the government has anything to do with whether or not maga has similarities with fascism. if you have a good argument against it, why not make an argument with some of your best points instead of starting there?

Given that you and I are total strangers who will never meet and only very occasionally interact on an obscure forum when we both have nothing better to do? Yes, I am totally indifferent to whatever happens to you, in the same way I expect you and all other members of this forum to be indifferent about what happens to me.

But were you someone I knew personally or even family and you'd espouse Kirk's beliefs that a christian theocracy needs to be installed that excludes women, people of color, anyone not straight and not of the right political background? And that those in opposition to this idea are fair game to violence? Then my answer to that question would also be yes.
