He's a classy guy, mocking an entire religion to annoy one country's government. Most of his allies in the area are Muslims too but pointing out their God can't protect Iran from him is killing two birds with one stone. Keeps them in their place.

Sadly, too much of the mainstream climate community has focused on a scary narrative that is inconsistent with actual climate data, leading so many astray like reporters at Politico.

I welcome the new era where data, not rhetoric, is the arbiter of truth. Growing the government, increasing energy prices, and scaring children will no longer be the goal. Science will be the goal.

It takes many years to get a factory up and running, especially with fast evolving technology.
RAM demand is going to crater soon, as no one can build, use and pay for Data Centers fast enough to actually absorb all the supply and not just on paper.
Expect have a terrabyte of lightly used RAM in the next Desktop you buy

To be honest, the labour costs are dwarfed by the capital depreciation.

For example a single EUV lithography machine for 300mm wafers can cost upwards of $300M. And many fabs have been running "lights out" for a long time now.

How many hundreds of people does it take to look at the same no evidence?

That's a slightly naive take. Isn't it actually a question of how well they can cherry-pick and spin what's there - Republicans have long acted to create a deeply problematic voting and elections situation in Georgia to benefit Republicans, after all, and that does include disenfrancising many Republicans alongside the far greater number of Democrats - or fabricate evidence to serve their goals and propaganda? Just saying that they're opening an investigation is a common Republican tactic that seems to work disturbingly well among those seeking any excuse to pretend that their side isn't a horribly bad side.

My heart sinks, waiting to learn what "fair" looks like to Trump.

I've been poking around trying to find out what exactly changed to allow the bridge to open and so far there is very little detail other than that some of the tolls that Canada was supposed to collect will now be diverted into an "economic development fund" for 15 years which will make it take longer to recoup the country's investment. Otherwise only some small details about conditions under which tolls can be raised etc.

As always, the devil is in the details and what this development fund is supposed to fund and who will administer it has not been revealed. Given the way this administration conducts itself, its safe to say that it won't be ordinary americans who benefit. Among other cronies, I'm sure at least a portion will end up on the balance sheet of one of Matthew Maroun's shell companies.

I hope others can learn from Canada's mistake here. An agreement with america has about as much value as an agreement with russia. Its basically a mafia state at this point.
