The 14th Amendment wasn't written so that every illegal criminal who is in our country illegally can drop a kid and immediately get welfare,

The 14th Amendment’s “subject to the jurisdiction thereof” clause was never intended to grant automatic citizenship to children of illegal immigrants

Our Supreme Court has been compromised, it's liberal at the core. This is sad day for Americans.

We need Republicans in office that will create an amendment

I am greatly disappointed in this decision, I need to know how they justified this decision and what we need to do to correct this injustice.

Note that, so far, Schitler has said nothing about his BIG LOSS of the birthright case.

He* has now:
"The Supreme Court upheld Birthright Citizenship, which is too bad for our Country," Trump says in a post on social media platform Truth Social.

His statement goes on to suggest Congress will be able to limit birthright citizenship through legislation, despite the court's ruling.

All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.

To me, that says the only exception would be if someone is born in the US and not subject to its laws, which would be an embassy.

Chief Justice John Roberts wrote the court's 6-3 opinion.

The decision firmly rejected the executive order that Trump issued on the first day of his second term. It sought to bar citizenship for babies born in the U.S. to parents who either entered the country illegally or who are living and working here legally with temporary visas. The executive order never went into effect because every lower court judge who reviewed it concluded, in the words of one judge, that it was "blatantly unconstitutional

As if blatantly unconstitutional ever stopped the most corrupt administration ever.
