Yes, I know a little bit about that, having taught the BB84 algorithm, quantum Fourier transform, and Shor's algorithm as (potentially) practical applications motivating the BQP complexity class.

Everything that I've been able to find on the 'arrests' for vandalizing the R. Pool have been for citations for things like one 67 -year-old man putting his hand in the water and touching, but not removing a piece of peeling paint and a 17-year-old who removed a small piece of the peeling paint. I'd bet with Trump's history of lying and a DOJ that is up his ass, that none of these alleged acts of vandalism had anything to do with WHY the pool has algae or WHY the paint is peeling. It's just Trump and his stooges trying to deflect blame.

There is a very real possibility that the post office goes under in the near future due to total loss of workers.
Things are so bad within the USPS. The amount of abuse, harassment, threats, and violations of safety and contracts by management is actually ludicrous.
The rate at which carriers are being terminated or forced to resign for ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ reasons is astronomical.
They have frozen hiring, and carrier assistants are not getting scheduled anymore.
It is Hell.

If, as currently believed, there is no general factorization algorithm that runs in polynomial time (P), then it is highly likely that quantum computers can break RSA and similar cryptosystems much faster than will ever be possible using conventional computers.)
Ten years ago, I gave a talk on quantum computing to a room full of computer scientists. My 31st slide from that talk states the main reason why the US government cares about quantum cryptography:

Unnecessary: if you want to make a fortune just stick the words "quantum computing" into an IPO. The suckers will buy it up because it's the trendy catchphrase of the moment, you dump your shares at the peak, and then it all crashes down when it gets out there's not even a regular computer involved.
But then crypto sinks to become worthless, so we end up in a conundrum.

crypto is worthless, but useful for shady businesses.
The concern is an effective quantum computer will crash cyber currency, bit coin is particularly vulnerable as an early currency with a potentially vulnerable algorithm. Whilst not an issue now longer term investors should move out of bitcoin. This is then a risk if e.g. the US is building a bitcoin reserve.
