We are getting very close to meeting our objectives as we consider winding down our great Military efforts in the Middle East with respect to the Terrorist Regime of Iran:
(1) Completely degrading Iranian Missile Capability, Launchers, and everything else pertaining to them.
(2) Destroying Iran's Defense Industrial Base.
(3) Eliminating their Navy and Air Force, including Anti Aircraft Weaponry.
(4) Never allowing Iran to get even close to Nuclear Capability, and always being in a position where the U.S.A. can quickly and powerfully react to such a situation, should it take place.
(5) Protecting, at the highest level, our Middle Eastern Allies, including Israel, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait, and others.
The Hormuz Strait will have to be guarded and policed, as necessary, by other Nations who use it - The United States does not!
If asked, we will help these Countries in their Hormuz efforts, but it shouldn't be necessary once Iran's threat is eradicated. Importantly, it will be an easy Military Operation for them.

Accidents and occassional equipment malfunctions never ever happen in any other country, amirite?

It's sad and unfortunate. But it's not the end of the world, and it's not some dire portent of the downfall of the US.

Sadly many on the 'left' are gloating about it being a big loss for the US. This is counterproductive because it inflames those on the 'right' who also think the deal is bad for the US. The last thing we want is for those people to scupper the agreement. It's also not true. It's actually a lot better for everyone - including the US - than if the war continued. It doesn't contain anything explicitly harming the US or putting it at an unfair disadvantage. Only a blinkered partisan would claim otherwise.

First of all, "gloating" isn't the right word. "Lamenting" is probably better.

Secondly, kindly take your insistence that only the left has agency and that the right is never to be held accountable for their actions and fire it out of a cannon directly into the sun.

I'm going to go on a ledge and guess that the person who is "totally not right-wing" is doing everything in their power to make excuses and apologize for the right-wing?
