One doesn't have to hope. The photographs in which Venus appears have been matched in Stellarium to their expected positions at that time, date, as seen from that place on the Moon. Venus is the only planet photographed from the lunar surface.If you can identify the planets' positions relative to each other, including the Moon and Earth (might be useful to note the sun's aspect [which we presume we know anyway]). These aspects can then be timed and dated quite precisely. One would hope it matches the date and time of the Moon landing.
