Things will be so much easier for my killer robots when they can just treat war like a video game and freely blow anyone away without having to fuss around with "rules" of engagement - prissy little niceties like trying to avoid murdering people. Boring.

Budget is now $1.4b. You more than doubled the size of that. That's six or seven times as much as you claimed at first, and the taxpayers are now learning they're on the hook for most of it, which you lied about and said it would cost them nothing.

And, by the way, it's just worth pointing out again it's not your house and you haven't got the landlord's okay for any of this ◊◊◊◊.

How many times 'Nothing' is $1.4 billion? I tried to work it out but my calculator is just flashing "86 47" and I'm sure that's not the right answer.

If Trump was a normal person I'd say he knows he's wrong but I don't believe his mind works like that. He knows it's contentious somehow, or some people don't agree with him, but I doubt he can properly conceive of his being wrong.

Rather than that, I would suggest that he just doesn't care whether what he says publicly is true or not, just whether it serves his purposes. Those purposes might include it serving as a loyalty/sycophancy test, sure, but I am not at all in the camp that thinks that he's so far gone that he can't even conceive that things are different from what he claims, given the numerous times that he's been caught privately acknowledging that he's well aware that he's lying to the public about all kinds of things.

Apparently, according to google, some Electric Vehicle manufacturers (Tesla, BMW, Rivian, etc.) have either removed AM radio, or are planning on doing so. (The issue has something to do with poor reception due to electromagnetic interference.) So Trump is not completely out to lunch on this.

There is some pushback, whereas some people think all vehicles should have AM radio for use in emergency broadcasts, and there is even pending legislation in congress to require all vehicles to have AM radio.

So basically retaining antique technology for a system of little practical use. Why not just have them install morse code keys, or semaphore flags?
 
Why don't they just get on with it and change the name to the United States of Trump?

AUSTIN, Texas — U.S. Sen. John Cornyn, R-Texas, introduced legislation Monday to designate US Highway 287 as a future interstate highway named in honor of President Donald Trump.

The I-47 Future Interstate Act would rename the roughly 1,800-mile corridor, which runs from Port Arthur, Texas, to Choteau, Montana, as Interstate 47, to be known as the "Trump Interstate." Sen. Cynthia Lummis, R-Wyo., is a co-sponsor of the bill.


US-287 is the second-longest three-digit highway in the United States and serves as a major trucking route, Cornyn's office says.

"Texas is Trump Country, and this bill cements that legacy by designating nearly 1,800 miles of open-road from Texas' Gulf Coast to the edge of the U.S.-Canadian border as I-47 to forever be remembered as Trump Interstate," Cornyn said in a statement.
