I get the temptation, but honestly at that point he will be so mentally gone that he is confusing JD for Stormy Daniels, and nothing will register, or he will make the undoing all about him and manage to keep his face in the headlines day after day--which is the last thing i want to see.
I think the best outcome would be if Musk convinces him to be the first human on a one way mission to Mars, in return for naming some mountain there after him. Then the only news about Trump would be his sole contribution to society--advancing our species destiny in the universe. All the horrific things he did as president will be forgotten
If the voters don't decide that because the new incumbent didn't fix everything in 5 minutes they need to hand the Senate/House to the Republicans again, and SCOTUS doesn't hamstring them, and they don't put a Trump wannabee in the White House in 2032. Honestly your rhetoric sounds exactly what people were saying in 2020, and look where we are. The barbarians are at the gates, they won't go away even if Trump does.

Sorry but the entirety of the USA has more than a little culpability for the current mess. Trump's first term was a big fat warning of just how fragile the US governmental system really was and so for the next four years, precisely nothing was done to fix it. There was no mass movement demanding change, Republican representatives carried on as before, because they had more to fear from parties primaries than general elections. The midterms mean that any coherent plan that requires more than 2 years to implement is probably doomed because the voters will suddenly decide that its a good thing to hand the Republicans the House to 'balance' a Democratic President.

First of all, I explicitly said that those who actually voted for Harris were not to blame for the actions of Trump. (The term I used was 'absolved'.) They took an action that, had more people done so, would have kept Trump from getting power. No blame for them.
Secondly, you seem to have ignored a major component of my argument... You cannot just consider those people explicitly voting for Trump as culpable. (i.e. the 49.8% of the popular vote) You also have to consider people who may not have voted for Trump, but also did not vote for Harris, the only potential opposition candidate that was viable. (This includes people who Did not vote, voted 3rd party, spoiled their ballot, etc..) When you include those people, the percentage of people to blame rises to roughly 2/3rds of the population. If some brain damaged moron gets their ballot and says "I cannot decide whether to vote for a convicted felon who supports fascism or a woman who will support democracy so I will write in "dwayne the rock johnson" then they deserve part of blame when Trump commits war crimes or ICE agents shoot someone in the back. Even though their spoiled ballot was not part of Trump's "Popular vote", he could have acted to try to keep trump out of power but did not.
And yes, it sucks that the ~75 million harris voters are getting swept up in this. It also sucked that the non-hitler voters got bombed in world war 2 even if they were not NAZI party members.
But if 2/3rds of the American electorate are A-Ok with fascism there is a problem.

It's not true.
I mean, even if his description of events was accurate, his claim would still be false.
The assassination of a president is terrible crime, but there would be a transfer of power to the VP so the people's elected representatives would continue in power so far as possible. Trump's Jan 6th coup attempt, by contrast, was intended to usurp power from the duly elected representative of the people and seize it for himself. Trump's botched coup was an attempt at far greater crime than the attempted murder of a president.

Lincoln: shot in the head at close range while attending a public theatre.
Garfield: shot at point blank range in a public railway station.
McKinley: shot at close range in a public exhibition.
JFK: shot at a distance while riding in a motorcade in public.
Hmm... Nope! No ballrooms would have helped!
Seems the best anti-assassination solution would be for Donny to have his big beautiful ballroom converted into a sealed, bulletproof, padded cell, and lock him in there 24/7 until he dies (or gets voted out, an increasingly less likely prospect).
