Trump's Second Term

they got into kash patel's email account, and he's about as smart as the rest of those bozos
The Atlantic ran this piece after being threatened by Patel's lawyers.

Kash Patel’s Erratic Behavior Could Cost Him His Job - The Atlantic https://share.google/lUAGj86ytXKSWRioP

The article claims that the FBI were unable to contact him or to wake him and actually requested breeching equipment to get to his place at one stage, as he was unresponsive behind locked doors and they were concerned about getting to him in an emergency

Discovery would be a doozy.

And he's committed the crime of embarrassing Trump

Trump: We will begin releasing government files relating to UFOs and unexplained aerial. phenomena and you're really into that. I don't know if I am. I thought I'd save it for this crowd. because you're a little bit out there.

The first releases will begin very, very soon, so you can go out and see if that phenomenon is correct. You'll figure it out. Let me know. Let me know.

This is the nth time Trump's pulling this, is it not?

🚨 TRUMP ADMIN BREAKS U.S. RECORD FOR HIRING EFFORT FOR AIR TRAFFIC CONTROLLERS 🚨

In just 13 HOURS: 8,004 Americans applied to join our controller ranks — that’s over 10 applications EVERY MINUTE!

EVEN BETTER, 7,252 applicants are qualified!

This is now the FASTEST application pace in AMERICAN HISTORY for Air Traffic Controllers ✈️

Did you know… the @FAANews has been recruiting controllers since 1958 — 67 YEARS AGO? Today interest in joining has never been HIGHER

We’re just getting started!

On a superficial look, this seems to be a legitimate achievement, whether or not it actually is meaningfully the fastest hiring pace. The larger picture matters far more than a blip, normally, after all. Either way, it looks like they ran a hiring campaign specifically targeted towards gamers that was quite successful. It will be seen how it works out in practice, of course, though I do wish the agency success.

Once again a numpty who is appointed to a job for which he is totally unqualified by an even bigger numpty fails to cope with actually having to do it. Who could possibly have predicted that.

lol, DUI hire is afraid of his job.

Donald Turning Point address.

Trump: "This will be a great and brilliant day for the world. Because Iran has just announced that the Strait of Hormuz is fully open and ready for business. But the naval blockade as it pertains to Iran will remain in full force and effect until such time as our transaction is 100% complete."

Iranian parliament speaker labels Trump’s claims as 'false'
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, who headed Iran’s delegation in the recent talks with the US in Islamabad, said on X that Donald Trump "made seven claims in one hour, all seven of which were false".

...

On the Strait of Hormuz, he said that, with the "continuation of the [US] blockade", the strait "will not remain open".

Trump thinks in terms of Media Awareness: by putting out the message that the Strait will stay open despite the blockade on Iran, he thinks he is forcing Iran to put out a statement denying it, making it a "he-said-they-said".
Of course, that doesn't work when Iran can just not do what he wants because they are not beholden to US media consumers.

Trump: We had some pretty good news 20 minutes ago.

Reporter: What was the good news?

Trump: Having to do with Iran.

Reporter: Can you tell us anything about it?

Trump: No. I just think it's something that should happen. It's something that only makes sense to happen and I think it will. We'll see what happens, but I think it will

Reporter: There are reports that the Pentagon is preparing for military action in Cuba. Is Cuba next?

Trump: Depends on what your definition of military action is… as Bill Clinton would say.

PRESIDENT TRUMP: “America was not founded by weak and timid men who cowered in the face of evil or sat by as danger loomed and let our country go to hell.”

“We are descended from the likes of George Washington, Andrew Jackson, Generals Ulysses S. Grant, Douglas MacArthur, General George Patton.”

“Our ancestors knew exactly what to do with America's enemies. Beat them and beat them good"

Grant was fighting other Americans, MacArthur's reputation is questionable at best, and yes Patton was a good General but this was the same US Army that thought highly of Mark Clark and Lloyd Fredendall.

So much for Trump's brilliant day:

Tanker comes under fire from Iranian gunboats, says UKMTOpublished at 11:55

A tanker in the Strait of Hormuz says it has come under fire from two gunboats operated by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, according to the UK Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO).

The incident took place 20 nautical miles north-east of Oman. The tanker and crew have been reported safe, UKMTO adds.

Separately, at least two merchant vessels say they were hit by gunfire as they attempted to cross the strait, three sources have told the Reuters news agency.

I agree that investors make decisions based in part on what they think someone else will do.

But eventually, someone gets stuck with the bill at the end. Personally I would rather not be "that guy" who gets screwed over just because I was the last one to do something before disaster hit again.

No trader thinks they're going to be 'That Guy', but the volatility of the market means there's money to be made especially for those with inside knowledge or who can sit with their finger on the Trade button every time he opens his stupid mouth. Small investord are going to be burned.
