After her performance as PM, it's probably no surprise that Truss would attempt to get back on the right side of history by circumnavigation.

There are 10 Victoria Shaws on the NMC register; 7 live nowhere near Crewe; 3 do not give a geographical location.

This looks hooky, but no doubt the Innsmouth Mob will worm out by saying that they are not directly claiming she is a registered nurse, rather that she's bought a uniform from a supplier and cosplays for some other reason.

Hmmmm, may contact the NMC on Monday.

There's a march in London tomorrow to show opposition to the far right. It will be interesting to see how much support it gets, and how well it is reported. Haven't decided yet whether to pop up to see it; I could even take part as a union member.

A woman who feeds a local colony of stray cats was approached today by a migrant who straight-up asked if he could take one of them home… to boil and eat it.

The rescuer is now in a desperate situation trying to rehome every single one before anything happens to them.
This is pure barbarism. In Britain we treat cats as family. We don’t hunt them down, boil them, and eat them.

A man put at the top of Reform UK's list for Bridgend and Vale of Glamorgan has stepped down after a picture of him performing a Nazi salute was published.

Nigel Farage had previously backed Corey Edwards after the photo emerged.

A Reform UK Wales spokesperson:

“Corey Edwards has informed us that he is stepping down as a candidate for the Senedd election this May, citing issues with his mental health.

“We wish him well for the future and hope his privacy can be respected at this difficult time.”

Reform say they will be providing mental health support to Mr Edwards.

I am so very shocked that I can only yawn, before moving on to the next tediously predictible 'Reform candidate turns out to be hideous a nazi bell end, and also thick as pig ◊◊◊◊' headline.

They're standing for Reform, of course they're every repellent flavour of 'ist', of course they're as thick as two short planks, of course they're involved in some kind of financial chicanery or other legal jiggery-pokerey.

Those that keep on voting for them are all those things, but without the chance to profit from it, or the perception to see how they're being played.
