Trump's Second Term

John Kennedy
@SenJohnKennedy
Prime Minister Starmer wants to give President Trump advice about our fight with Iran.

That’s like taking advice from a nun about sex.

I once dated a nun's daughter. The mother was a widow and then became a nun, so I am pretty sure she knew what sex (and contraception) was.

She was a novice, then there was something romantic I don't remember to do with appendicitis, she ended up marrying a civil engineer, having children, then going back to the same order after being widowed and becoming a nun with four grown children. I was immensely impressed that I got invited to have christmas dinner with the nuns when I was the Muslim girlfriend of a nun's daughter. The nuns were really nice, the dinner was awful.

My dad's second ex-wife became a num at some point. Then she left the church and my dad re-married her. I call her my "two-stepmother".

This is my favourite of all the anecdotes that I've read on this website, possibly on the internet as a whole.

I asked Google AI for one of the Trump Sir stories (did not ask for links)

One of Donald Trump’s most famous "Sir" stories—a trope often used to highlight his perceived strength or the emotional state of his supporters—involves a "big, tough" worker at a construction site or a rally.
In this recurring narrative, Trump describes a man who looks like he has never cried in his life. The man, often described as a "coal miner," "steelworker," or "tough police officer," approaches him with tears streaming down his face.
The man says, "Sir, thank you for saving our country."
Trump usually frames these stories to emphasize that even the most stoic, hardworking Americans are moved to emotion by his policies or his presence. Critics and late-night hosts have often pointed out that these stories follow a specific linguistic pattern: they almost always feature a "big, strong man," an unlikely display of crying, and the respectful honorific "Sir."
Another specific instance occurred during his presidency when he claimed a man came up to him to thank him for the Veterans Choice Act (which was actually signed by Obama in 2014, though Trump signed an expansion of it). In Trump's telling, the man looked at him and said, "Sir, I’ve been waiting for 40 years, and you got it done."

So Obama and Biden somehow started it 47 years ago. Sneaky bastards.

So Obama started The war was when he was 17 years old?

And that's not even the stupidest thing he's ever said. I'm so sick of hearing his sycophants describe him as some sort of genius. If you say the guy is a genius, you're either a lying sack of ◊◊◊◊, or a ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ idiot yourself.

Interesting article here comparing Trump giving his Cabinet shoes that don't fit to Stalin giving speeches and arresting the first person to stop applauding.

When Joseph Stalin took the stage, applause wasn’t just standard. It meant your freedom.
As the crowd thundered with cheers, no one dared to break first. Not after two minutes. Not after four. Not after six. As Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn wrote in “The Gulag Archipelago,” “It was becoming insufferably silly even to those who adored Stalin.”
Finally, after 11 minutes, one man — the director of a paper factory — broke the spell. And with that one act of independence, he sealed his fate. The director was arrested that evening.

Across Washington, D.C., a new fashion trend has taken hold of those in Trump’s circle: embarrassingly oversized clown shoes.

But this isn’t the type of gift horse you can safely look in the mouth. Another female White House staffer joked, “It’s hysterical because everybody’s afraid not to wear them.” Like Stalin, Trump is paying attention to see who stops clapping first.

They don't care, they are rich.

Hassett: "If the war were to be extended, it wouldn't really disrupt the US economy very much at all. It would hurt consumers, and we'd have to think about what we'd have to do about that, but that's really the last of our concerns right now."

“You say, ‘Steve.. how can I be a millionaire.. and never pay taxes?’ First.. get a million dollars.” - Steve Martin

If it is true then they are all thicker than I thought possible, why not order a pair of the same shoes in your size, they probably have next day delivery, you could even get them delivered to a PO box or equivalent and paid via a gift card purchased with Trump coin to thrawt the FBI monitoring of your activities.
