FCC Commissioner Anna Gomez's written statement was shown on television, and has been quoted in credible news reports. PBS has published a transcript in which Gomez discusses what happened.

If those sources were being disputed by a credible source, I might take the trouble to track down a copy of Gomez's written statement.

i think it was win the election or go to prison for quite a few of these guys, and since they won and squashed the investigations, now they're stuck having to deal with running the country and they're just winging it, but they can't stop themselves from stealing everything that's not bolted down. there is no endgame, only dealing with what's immediately in front of them. and then stealing that thing.
