Actually it does. The postmark and dating are pretty much irrelevant because in the prison. system (take it from someone who used to work in the criminal justice system) letters often get moved around and delayed for days, weeks, or months. So completely impossible without investigation to determine when it was written, postmarked, or mailed, and where it originated. I am not convinced one way or the other, but I know the DOJ is not trustworthy.

Well, while the number of documents does not necessarily prove any particular allegation, it does give us a clue on the scope of the investigation, which was quite large, broad, and long lasting. That was my only point.

There have been a number of estimates and figures put out by law enforcement agencies and victims' advocates. Part of the problem is that because victims names have been redacted and protected, it is hard to find a reliable figure. But we know it is more than just a handful. Since you seem to trust this corrupt DOJ, just take their word for it that there are 1200 victims (as reported by the ever reliable Fox News):

The scope of an investigation does not always indicate the scope of crimes being investigated. The latter is what's being alleged.

First, it's not 1200 victims, it's 1200 victims and relatives of victims. I hope you can figure out how this number, even if accurate, could mean much less than 1200 victims. But I have no idea if it's accurate, because I don't know how the DOJ came up with it. Even if it's an honestly obtained number, that doesn't mean it is correct.

i’m personally inclined to think the letter is fake. even if real, it’s proof epstein mailed a letter. the evidence of the claims made against trump will be found elsewhere

Irrelevant. That's one thing and I was referring to another, with the Javelin anti-tank missiles being the weapons that were restricted most famously, not being allowed to be taken to anywhere remotely close to where they could be used.

I think if it were authenticated, it could be used in a trial against Trump (it aint hearsay) since it is consistent with other statements by Epstein that he could take Trump down with the dirt he had on him. A handwriting analysis would be useful, too bad we have none other than DOJ claims. I think the problems mentioned by the DOJ (postmarking etc) are easily explainable as the link I gave to Zig explains. If I had to put money on it, I might bet on fakeness, but I don't think it has been conclusively shown to be. Obviously, the DOJ thought just saying 'fake' would be enough evidence to convince the public, otherwise they would not have released it (Or it would have been completely black)

Those restrictions were lifted during the first Trump administration, before the 2022 invasion. And Javelins absolutely were used on the front line, to rather dramatic effect. Compare that to Obama who refused to give Ukraine any weapons at all.

i agree i don't think it's conclusively real or fake

the doj has been selectively redacting and releasing their own pieces of the epstein files, think of michael jackson with his own kids with their faces blacked out and a few other people and names, that i believe they may have put a few red herrings in there. much like the steele dossier and the pee tape, it's something people want to talk about since it's so controversial, but that's ultimately a little silly and irrelevant distraction

Ukraine was for much of Obama's time a virtual Russian client state. They had to get their state organised after the Maidan revolution. When Russia took Crimea Ukraine was simply incapable of defending itself. America was not going to intervene directly. The US and Russia have always tried to avoid direct confrontation.

When Ukraine showed it could stand up for itself during the general invasion it demonstrated an ability to defend itself.

Biden was always very cautious about weapons and rules for using them because Putin kept threatening escalation and the MAGA crowd were shouting about imminent nuclear war.

Every time I think there is no way Trump could say anything more insane than his last comment, he proves me wrong...
Here he is, describing their bromance...which in and of itself establishes that Trump is equally as trustworthy as the world's other best known murderous dictator, and his choice of words keeps getting more and more bizarre... "It turned out we were right" --So, he needed confirmation of his own delusions?? He needed independent verification that the lies they were telling each other weren't lies? How long do we have to wait for the 25th to be invoked?? I would not be surprised at this point if he suddenly starts blabbing about his time on Epstein Island, when he and his best pal Jeff would discuss how their mutual love of 'nubile young girls' would someday be proven to be a hoax perpetrated by his fellow Democrats...:unsure:
