Trump lost an election and then came back to win the next in spite of everything. Democrats have done well in recent elections but that frankly doesn't mean much for off year elections and Republicans being in power. There were lots of predictions and hype around the 2024 election and look how that turned out. And that assumes we even have free and fair elections come 2026 or 2028. The cultists might grumble or be concerned for a little bit but ultimately who and what they support won't change. When Trump dies there are still all the grifters with their money, levers of power and propaganda machine in tact. There will be some turmoil and infighting until a new conman king rises to the top and they'll fall in line behind them and it's ever onward with the stupidity and cruelty.
