Nonsense that children are being hyper-sexualised? They clearly are. Barely legal is recognised as harmful and is illegal in the UK. That isn't nonsense. It's actually factual. And the porn industry is benefitting right now from showing their content to kids - they harvest data and sell it to advertisers. Can you try to be more hyperbolic? Total NONSENSE. This is none of that.
Which is another way of saying that porn users can a do end up migrating towards a huge array of possible kinks including paedophilia.I would argue that watching porn has no relationship to being or not being a feminist. Women watch porn. It's not just men. There is lots of porn that specifically cater to women. Now individually, it might not do anything for you. But even that is a generalization. You may have not found the right pornography for you. People, not women, not men, like what they like. I think it's also important to understand that our tastes change. What did it for you before is boring today. And things you couldn't imagine being interested in when you're younger now are delicious.
IMO the vast, vast majority of the hyper-sexualization problem kids are dealing with is in eyeball-seeking, advertiser-driven pop culture. People selling records and clothes and advertiser engagement on social media have infinitely more reach into kids' spaces than smut peddlers do.Nonsense that children are being hyper-sexualised? They clearly are.
I already explained why. The target of the classic teacher/student fantasy is the teacher. The entire deal with a classroom fantasy is about people who are or were students, indulging in a fantasy of sexy times happening in the classroom. Instead of just French. Post #4582They are feeding a MAP appetite; why else would someone seek it out?
Countries have a duty to uphold the UNCRC and make the net safe for children. If you want to do real SJW work, then start by putting them first. Remember the Mandela quote? This is more of an immediate threat than porn.
Modern day terrorism': How the online extremist network 764 is threatening teen lives
But no, it doesn't need a new thread, because it has the same solution as the perceived porn problem.
Parents taking charge of children's access to the internet.
In other words you have determined that no MAPs are consuming this content? You are desperately attempting to sanitise something that the UK government deems illegal; like seriously illegal.I already explained why. You've quoted that as saying illegal stuff is with "people pretending to be under the age of consent" and I have no evidence that anyone in the Bonnie Blue 'classroom' orgy video is pretending to be under the age of consent. You are desperately attempting to sanitise something that the UK government deems illegal; like seriously illegal.
Their intention was to give the impression of group sex among adults? To achieve that they put on school uniforms, sat at desks in a classroom and chose actors that looked young? You've quoted that as saying illegal stuff is with "people pretending to be under the age of consent" and I have no evidence that anyone in the Bonnie Blue 'classroom' orgy video is pretending to be under the age of consent.
You are quibbling.I understand you think it's disingenuous of me to say "looking young" and "pretending to be under the age of consent" are not the same thing, but... They're not. They're not in a real classroom either.
In the UK it is illegal to produce or consume any pornography that depicts the participants as being under 18 regardless of the participants actual age. To do so could lead to you being imprisoned for up to 10 years, heavy fines and being for the rest of your life on the "sex offenders" list.
I have. You misunderstand what Darat has said. Why don't you check your facts before posting?
And you are wrong about what Darat said. And just to be clear and remind anyone else following - I said: Darat (UK based) says you'll go to prison for watching it (the 'it' being the Bonnie Blue school classroom content).
Sure. Trying to misuse those quotes to make your arguments for you is not. If I want to debate Darat, I'll debate him directly. Stop hiding behind his posts, and make your own arguments.Quoting other members is perfectly appropriate.
I don't understand what this means.Of which you appear to take every opportunity to undermine.
Yes. Please stop doing this.No. Please stop saying this.
Not an opinion; a wish. An understandable wish, considering how you bounce around.iyho
No. Bonnie Blue's content has nothing to do with MAPs. You're still pretending attraction to sexually mature young adults is a pedophile thing. Stop it.iyho and about as rude as my 'God' post....so not all that.
Again, in the UK the law is what has been stated (though there is a grey area when it comes to the online world compared to the offline but the coming Crime and Policing Bill should clear that up). My original statement regarding MAPs was a fair one given the nature of the Bonnie Blue content...at least from a UK perspective. There is a reason why this content is deemed harmful and illegal and your trivialisation of it is...well, extremely provocative. I have already quoted Michael Sheath from that Guardian article.
Pedophilia is not a kink. It's a mental disorder. Ironically, your rhetoric is actually trying to minimize and normalize it.Which is another way of saying that porn users can a do end up migrating towards a huge array of possible kinks including paedophilia.
One should be informed about the issues one debates. Stop berating people for knowing more about your topic than you do.You're the one bragging that you know so much about porn.
I misunderstand, am wrong and misuse Darat's quote - but, as usual, no explanation.I have. You misunderstand what Darat has said.
And you are wrong about what Darat said.
Sure. Trying to misuse those quotes to make your arguments for you is not. If I want to debate Darat, I'll debate him directly. Stop hiding behind his posts, and make your own arguments.
Again, not substantiated. The notion that MAPs don't consume this type of content is fanciful.No. Bonnie Blue's content has nothing to do with MAPs.
You are doing the rose-coloured glasses thing with extreme content. Why are you doing so? What is your interest? You're still pretending attraction to sexually mature young adults is a pedophile thing. Stop it.
