Yet another post that didn't age well.Yeah, somewhat. Except it's fallacious for two reasons. The first is that standing around staring at your phone (ie, doing nothing) does not imply that phones cannot be used for tactical purposes; those are two different things. The second is the false premise that I was talking about anything other than the impression that the photo gives.
That said, if we only had some way of ascertaining the truth, I would bet anyone here at 10-to-1 odds that those folks in the picture who were standing around staring at their phones weren't reading tactical, organizational messages, and I'm pretty sure that nobody who is arguing with me would take that bet, which, if I'm right, implies that none of you sincerely believe that that's what those people are doing. And if that's the case (and I'm pretty sure it is) then why the ◊◊◊◊ are you arguing with me?
FTFY.Yet another post that didn't age well.
It is now 11/20.2025. Thursday night. Just three nights ago, the city of Charlotte had several different ICE protest training classes going on. There was a church just reported by Rachel Maddow, that there were well over 300 people, on a Monday night, literally training with old white women and a pastor, on how to successfully protect their neighbors from abunch of masked criminalsFederal agents enforcing U.S. law.
First of all, keep in mind that simply "arresting people" does not mean that get are criminals, especially with the Trump administration running things. (Just look at the subway sandwich thrower, who was found not guilty)FTFY.
If my post "didn't age well," then yours was dead on arrival:
November 19, 2025 WASHINGTON — In a major win for residents of the Charlotte, North Carolina area, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it has arrested over 250 illegal aliens from the Charlotte area.
The feds are prioritizing going after illegal aliens who are dangerous criminals, but they will deport anyone who is in the country illegally, and it's not to "get their numbers up"; it's because those people are in the country illegally. That's what law enforcement officers do; they enforce the law.First of all, keep in mind that simply "arresting people" does not mean that get are criminals, especially with the Trump administration running things.
Umm, no.The feds are prioritizing going after illegal aliens who are dangerous criminals, but they will deport anyone who is in the country illegally, and it's not to "get their numbers up"; it's because those people are in the country illegally. If you ignore their operations that target dangerous criminals, then I guess you would come to that conclusion.Umm, no.
Your claim that they are "prioritizing" dangerous criminals would be more believable if we didn't know their tactics.
For example, picking up "day laborers" in home Depot parking lots, not because they had specific information that a dangerous individual was there, but because they knew they could make lots of arrests.
"According to Grok"?The data shows that ICE is prioritizing individuals with a criminal history. According to Grok, "the overall percentage of ICE detainees with a criminal history is approximately 50%, according to the most recent internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) figures from early November 2025."
If ICE were not prioritizing individuals with a criminal history, then the expected percentage of detainees with a criminal history would be equal to the percentage of illegal aliens with a criminal history. So, for example, if 5% of illegal aliens had a criminal history, then we would expect 5% of detainees to have a criminal history. But, instead 50% do, which would make a detainee 10 times as likely to have a criminal history than the average illegal alien. So, unless you believe that 50% of illegal aliens have a criminal history—which would make you a racist—ICE is prioritizing individuals with a criminal history.

There aren't that many dangerous criminals. The feds are prioritizing going after illegal aliens who are dangerous criminals, but they will deport anyone who is in the country illegally, and it's not to "get their numbers up"; it's because those people are in the country illegally. Grok also claimed that Zyklon B was used for delousing (I saw that tweet, which it did later delete).Welcome to the 21st century. Searches use AI now.
ETA: CBS News agrees with Grok: 53% of detainees have a criminal record.
