Trump's Second Term

Yeah, somewhat. Except it's fallacious for two reasons. The first is that standing around staring at your phone (ie, doing nothing) does not imply that phones cannot be used for tactical purposes; those are two different things. The second is the false premise that I was talking about anything other than the impression that the photo gives.

That said, if we only had some way of ascertaining the truth, I would bet anyone here at 10-to-1 odds that those folks in the picture who were standing around staring at their phones weren't reading tactical, organizational messages, and I'm pretty sure that nobody who is arguing with me would take that bet, which, if I'm right, implies that none of you sincerely believe that that's what those people are doing. And if that's the case (and I'm pretty sure it is) then why the ◊◊◊◊ are you arguing with me?
Yet another post that didn't age well.

It is now 11/20.2025. Thursday night. Just three nights ago, the city of Charlotte had several different ICE protest training classes going on. There was a church just reported by Rachel Maddow, that there were well over 300 people, on a Monday night, literally training with old white women and a pastor, on how to successfully protect their neighbors from a bunch of masked criminals. There were 4 other locations also having the same training sessions. They have posters printed out insisting that all law enforcement MUST have a warrant to enter the privately-owned building, and they are taping these signs up all over businesses, homes, and apartments. Very much like what the anti-mafia people over in Sicily did to stand up to the Mafia. They have "No Mafia" signs that went up all over the entire island.

And guess what was used to organize all of this?

Why.... you guess it!

People like that one lady that was looking at her cell phone that you criticized.

Everyone thinks that the Epstein files is big. Those files don't even scratch the ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ surface. That's only one incident out of thousands from crimes, from murder on the high seas, to sexual assault of women and minors, to mass kidnappings, extortion, breaking and entering, violations of virtually every single constitutional amendment, as well as a ◊◊◊◊◊◊◊◊ of treaties we are obligated to uphold according to the constitution itself. and the humble little cell phone in all of these peoples' hands will be the massive amounts of evidence to prove it all. ◊◊◊◊ is really going to hit the fan in the next few years.

FTFY.

If my post "didn't age well," then yours was dead on arrival:

November 19, 2025 WASHINGTON — In a major win for residents of the Charlotte, North Carolina area, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced that it has arrested over 250 illegal aliens from the Charlotte area.

First of all, keep in mind that simply "arresting people" does not mean that get are criminals, especially with the Trump administration running things. (Just look at the subway sandwich thrower, who was found not guilty)

Secondly, the claim that the arrests were a "major win" for residents is questionable. ICE agents often target non-violent undocumented residents as a way to "bump up" their numbers. So the arrests probably do not make residents any safer, yet their removal is harmful to them (for example taxpayers see their hard-earned dollars going towards the arrests and deportations of people that were not a threat)

The feds are prioritizing going after illegal aliens who are dangerous criminals, but they will deport anyone who is in the country illegally, and it's not to "get their numbers up"; it's because those people are in the country illegally. That's what law enforcement officers do; they enforce the law.

Umm, no.

Your claim that they are "prioritizing" dangerous criminals would be more believable if we didn't know their tactics.

For example, picking up "day laborers" in home Depot parking lots, not because they had specific information that a dangerous individual was there, but because they knew they could make lots of arrests.

If you ignore their operations that target dangerous criminals, then I guess you would come to that conclusion.

The data shows that ICE is prioritizing individuals with a criminal history. According to Grok, "the overall percentage of ICE detainees with a criminal history is approximately 50%, according to the most recent internal Department of Homeland Security (DHS) figures from early November 2025."

If ICE were not prioritizing individuals with a criminal history, then the expected percentage of detainees with a criminal history would be equal to the percentage of illegal aliens with a criminal history. So, for example, if 5% of illegal aliens had a criminal history, then we would expect 5% of detainees to have a criminal history. But, instead 50% do, which would make a detainee 10 times as likely to have a criminal history than the average illegal alien. So, unless you believe that 50% of illegal aliens have a criminal history—which would make you a racist—ICE is prioritizing individuals with a criminal history.

"According to Grok"?

We seem to be talking past each other. Police arresting criminals isn't the issue. It's the arrest of innocent US citizens, for example for being the victim of a crash caused by the the same ICE agents or entering private property without warrants and generally acting as though they are above the law.

There are plenty of examples, as you are well aware. And seemingly targeting people who are exercising their first amendment rights. Why did they ram this car, try to arrest the driver, who has no charges against him? Even if he was a criminal, that ramming would have been unnecessarily dangerous (the driver was injured and taken to hospital).

If someone doesn't have due process, nobody does.

There aren't that many dangerous criminals.

They are targetting! people for the most trivial offences.

ETA: CBS News agrees with Grok: 53% of detainees have a criminal record.
Grok also claimed that Zyklon B was used for delousing (I saw that tweet, which it did later delete).

Like that apartment block they descended on out of helicopters and smashed up.
Everyone arrested was let go again.

100% of US prison detainees have a criminal record. And they are almost all US citizens.

Do you understand that being an "ICE detainee" means they could be an illegal immigrant, a legal immigrant, a green card holder, a US citizen, a non-US citizen, a First Nation person, a Hindu, a Muslim, an innocent bystander, a case of mistaken identity, a victim of ICE bastardisation, or any combination thereof?

What you will probably find is that their common attributes are "brown" and "foreign looking".
