As I wrote earlier, "The crazy reaction from the right seems to be the standard hate-mongering and promoting of division that has become their trademark." What in blazes is this woman talking about? Here was Curtis Sliwa's reaction when he conceded last night:
“So we have a mayor-elect,” Mr. Sliwa, 71, said, sounding less than thrilled as he addressed dozens of people at an Italian restaurant on the Upper West Side. “Obviously, I wish him good luck, because if he does well, we do well.” New York Times article link

But then he went on to say:
“Let me warn our new leader: If you try to implement socialism, if you try to render our police weak and impotent, if you forsake the people’s public safety, we’re not only organizing, but we are mobilizing,” Mr. Sliwa said. “And we will become the mayor-elect and his supporters’ worst enemy."

Okay fair enough. He wishes Mamdani well but warns that IF he tries to implement radical policy changes Sliwa's group will vehemently oppose him. But what is this irresponsible nonsense this Loeffler woman is blathering about? She even looks scary.
