Trumps threat may have sealed victory for the Democrats in the NJ gubernatorial race. Some polls had the two neck-and-neck recently, but more recently Dem candidate Sherrill had started to take a lead.

Now with Trump threatening infrastructure projects that also effect New Jersey that lead may expand. Ciattarelli has made weak attempts at trying to distance himself from trump with ads that complain about Sherril pointing out his ties as "obsessive", but that's hard to claim when the mark of the ring you kiss is still imprinted on your lips.
