I expect he's suggesting that the law is an ass, and should be changed.Except that he broke a law. Are you suggesting that they should have let him break the law and not be charged?

So? It's the law, whether it is changed in the future or not. He broke the law, he gets charged, he pays the penalty.I expect he's suggesting that the law is an ass, and should be changed.
Yes, and that's why more care should be taken, not to make laws that stupidly criminalize what shouldn't be criminalized. So? It's the law, whether it is changed in the future or not. He broke the law, he gets charged, he pays the penalty.
We're talking about about should. You're falling back on is, because it absolves you of responsibility to reach your own conclusion about should. The gulf between "should" and "is" is vast.
We're talking about changing the law. That's quite a way from "this guy got arrested because he broke the law".We're talking about about should. You're falling back on is, because it absolves you of responsibility to reach your own conclusion about should.
"Free speech" is a kind of sectarian concept, isn't it?Its about time the tables were turned...

... now watch all the left-wing Gaza sycophants start screeching about the abrogation of her free speech rights!
I hope they charge this vile piece of crap, find her guilty, jail her, and when she has completed her sentence, deport her back to wherever she came from.
If you think the things she has been saying publicly, i.e. advocacy and support for the 7 October 2023 Hamas attack on Israeli civilians that killed over 1,200 people, is somehow no different from advising someone call the Police if a man invades your safe space, and as a last resort, punch him in the balls, then you have a very warped idea of equivalence."Free speech" is a kind of sectarian concept, isn't it?
I don't see any incitement to violence. It's just an unpopular opinion. Its about time the tables were turned...

Ah yes, 'Freedom of Speech' only applies to the kind of speech you approve from people who share your ideas. Can't have Palestinians talking about Israeli murder and land-theft.Its about time the tables were turned...

No doubt @smartcooky will want everyone jailed for reading that.“October 7. The day Israel was humiliated. Their supremacy shattered at the hands of the children they forced out of their homes. The children who watched foreign jews execute their loved ones, rape their land and live on their stolen soil.”
Certainly for some people."Free speech" is a kind of sectarian concept, isn't it?
Open support of "Palestinian Action" (which is a proscribed terrorist organization)I don't see any incitement to violence. It's just an unpopular opinion.
Of course, the fact that she holds such opinions would reasonably call into question her willingness to treat patients impartially so revoking her medical licence would be reasonable. Making her a criminal is not.
Also the idiots are sticking them in dangerous places. If one of them is electrocuted putting a flag on a supply pole it cpuld inconvenience people due to the delay in removing the corpse and restoring supply.
I had an exchange with a bunch of Shinners at our last election when they objected to my recording them erecting posters illegally. But at least they'd have the consolation that some Muslims might be offended by the smell of burnt gammon.

Like I said, an unpopular opinion. It is nowhere near the same thing as Trump's incitement to the 2021 riots.Open support of "Palestinian Action" (which is a proscribed terrorist organization)

In a Gaza protest, she justified terrorism, and spreading of antisemitic conspiracy theories. At a pro-Palestinian concert (July 2024) she did a ‘slit your throat’ hand gesture towards Jewish counter-protesters.

It is an offense for which you can be arrested, charged, convicted and imprisoned.
