Straightforwardly, once every four weeks Trump looks like he's going to keel over and die at any minute, hopelessly mumbling and confused with glazed, vacant eyes. He goes away for three or four days without being seen. He comes back talking like a normal person with regular energy. Not even a hint of curiousity about the fact that he is having obvious medical interventions for something. Ridiculous.

I don't think enough attention is being brought to the fact that Donald Trump is about to cause insulin prices to spike up by 1500% for millions of people on Medicare and Medicaid. He's about to directly bankrupt or unalive every diabetic on Medicare and Medicaid... That is if nothing is changed on healthcare after the government shutdown.

To be fair, the shooting was over and a ceasefire agreed before TACO's "threat". It was simply a hany excuse for the Thais who had been caught flat footed by the Cambodians.

The part I'm always finding wild is that rural voters have an unquestionably, intentionally disproportionate say in these elections and yet seem to build their approach on the impression that they are oppressed underdogs in this.

ETA: Isn't the electoral college system the original DEI, really? They wanted to Include rural concerns rather than just city ones (Diversity!), and found a way to give them a hand up that they would not have if all votes were treated the same (Equity!!). OoooOOOooooOo

The electoral college was created to ensure a permanent majority for the slaveholder states. It wasn't specifically rural vs urban, given the urban population back then was very small.

I suspect what Patel is reporting is that virtually every kid aged 6 to 11 is in a gang.
And some adult criminals are too.

What he's not letting on is that the FBI has learned where their hideout is, in the bushes behind Emily's dad's garage, and they know the secret password to be allowed in too.

Kamala Harris didn't lose by the largest margin in history whether you count popular votes or Electoral.

Popular vote trump 77,302,580 (49.8%) Harris 75,017,613 (48.3%)
In 2020 Joe Biden received 81,283,501, almost 4 million more votes then trump received four years later. In losing, trump received fewer votes in 2020 (74,223,975) then Harris received in losing in 2024 (75,017,613). May explain in part the reason why trump has such a virulent hatred of Joe Biden.

There was a science fiction TV series called "Falling Skies" that ran from 2011 - 2015, about human resistance after Earth is invaded and conquered by aliens. At one point, a recurring villain who was somewhat racist asked a black character if he had been in a gang before the invasion.
He answered, "The biggest gang around, Baltimore PD."
The more things change ...
