That indicates a majority of Jews aren't being persuaded by the "genocide" accusation, so there's that 55% statistical aspect to factor in, within their sample size of 815 American Jewish respondents (margin of error 4%); and let's consider as well the very idea that US Jews whose lives aren't on the line, and whose sons and daughters don't wear IDF boots, should have some sort of say-so about Israel's (relatively prudent) military choices.

These polls are not making a dent with the situation in Gaza. At all.

Oh, by the way, HAMAS has been muttering about needing a month or so to compile the hostage lists.
Or to 'find' the bodies and remaining living captives.

Hostages that cannot be accounted for, would count as, what? Allow HAMAS just a "gimme" while accepting the 'oops, we lost 'em' apology and call it a day?

The Succot holiday will start tomorrow night, and throughout the coming week, IDF troops in the field are going to be living in their booths full-time, on alert, but allowed to enjoy a ceasefire period while celebrating an ancient tradition of our patriarchs in the same proximate desert. Kinda fitting, I would say.

Then start expressing your pride in the Jewish people of Israel, instead of supporting and facilitating (and expressing) the calls of "Nazis" and "fascists" and "baby killers" and "genociders" and "ethnic cleansers" and "criminals"-- all of which are not only false, but creates MORE hatred towards you in whatever fragile world you live in.

Non-Jews have more fortitude and bravery to support Israel, in this time of harassment, assault, vandalism and even murder (which somehow you are blaming on Jews, instead of placing the blame on the perpetrators of hate crimes).

Israel is celebrating a holy day, there's a ceasefire in-place, HAMAS can assemble whatever remnants of their hostages they can muster, and they have just around another 72 hours to accomplish that, per POINT 4.

Israel will likely release thousands, (and maybe even Barghouti, as a major concession) to ease the progress of HAMAS concluding their end of the bargain post-haste.

It's right there on their webpage. They explicitly say that the goal of their operation is to disrupt the blockade and open a supply corridor to Gaza outside of Israeli control. This is a de facto attack on the anti-Hamas arms embargo. Whatever else you might believe it is, whatever else it might actually be, the blockade is an arms embargo against Hamas. Disrupting the blockade - the flotilla's stated goal - is necessarily disrupting the arms embargo.

He has no proof. There is no proof. There are no weapons aboard the Sumud Flotilla. If there were, do you not think Israel would be shouting from the rooftops right now? Oh wait, there are no rooftops left in Gaza. Do you not think that Israel would be screaming about it right now?

Disrupting the blockade disrupts the arms embargo against Hamas. The two are inseparable. The flotilla is pretending they're just disrupting the aid restrictions, but that's all it is: A pretense. They know as well as you do that unrestricted access to aid gives Hamas unrestricted access to arms and other support for their terrorist activities.

Meanwhile, this is how they are treating their captives:

Most of it seems reasonable. People being detained for criminal activity don't get to set their own meal schedules. People being detained for criminal activity don't get to pause all detention, transportation, and processing activities until their lawyers have a chance to review everything and sign off.

I don't believe the persecution and humiliation claims by the blockade runners, any more than I believe the claims that the flotilla was attacked by drones.

And I have no qualms at all about poor little Greta having to sit on a concrete bench for a few hours, waiting for her dinner time. What did she expect? The IDF was going to issue her a summons to appear, and then book her into a mid-priced hotel at Israel's expense while she figured out her next move? Maybe throw in a fruit and cheese basket, to make up for the fact that she probably missed lunch while they had her briefly detained?
