i guess not. i think there’s something to be said that hate speech goes beyond political speech. i’ll say in the same sense that some would consider lying protected speech under free speech, hate speech is political speech.

i think it’s immaterial. if tyler wasn’t indoctrinated by extremists, and he did what he did on his own. any time you murder someone you’re denying them a bunch of rights, including speech.

i think it’s more relevant because the government is being ordered by the executive branch to arrest people for terrorism on the pretense that the left is indoctrinating murderers. if that’s not what happened, it’s a lie and a dangerous one. a dangerous hate speech lie. is this what free speech looks like?

Saying 4 black women don't have the brain power for thought isn't political, it's racist. Saying trans people shouldn't have rights isn't political, it's bigotry.

Sure, if you want to say that everything ties back to politics then there's nothing that wouldn't be political, but we can even look at what ICE is doing right now. The problem isn't that they're deporting people because I think most people think that lawbreakers should be deported, right? I think we can all agree there. The problem is HOW they're doing it and HOW they're doing it isn't political, it's racist. They're being as cruel as possible and people like Kirk encouraged and defended that. Which, again, to me isn't political.
