Not all influencers are political. Some are into cooking, fashion, stopping animal and child abuse, finding missing persons etc.

it has always been acceptable in the radical parts of the country.

What I am talking about is people who have decided that the only way they will leave any mark on the world is by a few days of fame as a mass shooter.

Look at the hysteria from the Right in the UK. Apparently Charlie is not even on the right, he is like all of them ,in the centre and the mainstream.

A person who is not interested in influencing others to their way of thinking on a given subject would not self-identify as an influencer.
