General comment No. 25 (2021) on children’s rights in relation to the digital environment:
In this general comment, the Committee explains how States parties should implement the Convention in relation to the digital environment and provides guidance on relevant legislative, policy and other measures to ensure full compliance with their obligations under the Convention and the Optional Protocols thereto in the light of the opportunities, risks and challenges in promoting, respecting, protecting and fulfilling all children’s rights in the digital environment.

You say they don't have rights?

UNCRC, Article 17:
I said they don't have THAT right. Nowhere in that article is the Internet even mentioned.
The Children and Young People's Commissioner (Scotland) states with regard to that article:
The commissioner is an idiot. They invented a right to the internet which doesn't exist.
Article 13:
1. The child shall have the right to freedom of expression;
That's the LAST thing the UK government believes. Hell, they don't even think adults have that right.
Essentially, you are submitting to the notion that the internet is the right and preserve of adults
Yes.
and thus denying children access to all that is beneficial for them.
I'm not denying them anything. Their parents may choose to deny them that. I never said they had to.

And the Internet isn't very beneficial to children. You should know that by now.

The internet isn't mass media?

See above.

No one has total freedom.
Reason?
I'm not denying them anything. Their parents may choose to deny them that. I never said they had to.

Translation: The pornographers (et al) have won.
Only inasmuch as they have always won.

What laws were there protecting children from pornography in Victorian England? In Mediaeval France? In Ancient Rome? Pornography is more restricted now than it ever has been, in all of human history.

Our future is determined by our poor historical record?

24/7 - as much as you can watch, rule 34 content?

No comparison.

24/7 - as much as you can watch, rule 34 content?
There are laws restricting child sexual abuse and nonconsensual content. That's more restrictive than it has ever been. The amount of content is not the issue. The issue is the laws that bind it. In Victorian London it was not illegal to produce any kind of porn. And the Victorians were really perverted.

You aren't rewriting history?
Obscene Publications Act 1857
Obscene Publications Act 1959

The Victorian era started in 1837. The Obscene Publications Act was a response to all the horniness, which in fact did not start in Victoria's times.

The internet is awash with such content. We have been through this already.
If criminalising the making and viewing hasn't worked to stop the internet being awash with child abuse content, how is criminalising i.e banning porn going to achieve your aim of no porn?
