MAQA: Make America Qapla' Again!
First they make the buses free, and then the next day the workers take over the factories, land, and all other means of production. Well-known fact!
I'm man and I can honestly say I've never even considered the ability of a politican to bench press anything when I vote.
I tend to look at silly things like their ability to do their job and proven qualities in earlier parts of their career.
But enlighten me, maybe the US is different. What part of the job of major of New York city involves bench pressing?
Heh. It takes all kinds. I would take someone with a bachelor's and ten years of experience in a non-academic, non-political career, over anyone with a PhD.This might be the dumbest thing you could say. What does physical strength have to do with governing? NOTHING!
I won't vote for intellectual weaklings. I'll take someone with a doctorate in physics, engineering, biology, medicine etc, as opposed to someone who benches 250 or 50 pounds.
That is the only part of this of note. It is fairly comical that he tried in public without knowing whether he could or not. Other than that, meh. Something for is opposition to laugh at and his supporters to not care about. I'm sure if Cuomo or Addams had done something similar, the response would be largely the same with different cast members.Heh. It takes all kinds. And I don't care about physical strength. Physical weakness isn't a turn off for me, in a candidate. But I do think it's comical that Mamdani walked face-first into a physical posturing activity without stopping to think about whether he could pull it off, or how he would look if he couldn't pull it off.
Isn't this a common complaint about Trump? That he bulls into situations he doesn't understand and has no plan for, and beclowns himself and his constituency as a result?
LOL. Yes, to men it's quite relevant that a 33 year-old man can't lift that puny weight. That's a weakling and I'd have no interest in voting for weak men. While some Democrats will probably vote for this socialist soy boy, their wives and their wives' boyfriends are going with Cuomo or Adams.
Text added to correct your statement.LOL. Yes, to insecure, low self-esteem, low-achieving men it's quite relevant that a 33 year-old man can't lift that puny weight...

Bench pressing as part of a campaign event is pretty stupid. He sort of deserved to fail it.While I don't condone this stupid thing another Trump voter said, I also sort of condone it. And aren't you all a bunch of hypocrites for not holding Mamdani's attempt at benchpressing to the same standard you hold Trump's catastrophic incompetence that is destroying the country?

Some even thrive on it, the third place leader Ed Davey ran his campaign on failing at physical activities just to get the air-time over the over-represented Reform.A lot of things that a lot of politicians do during campaign events are stupid. The question is whether or not this is consequential or meaningful. It's not in the slightest.
especially as it's a trap take, if he hadn't done it they'd probably be scurrilous whisperings that he was scared or had something to hide. After throwing in the towel, Mamdani stood up and gave all the credit to the spotter
It can help to read MAGA posts with the subtitles on. Thanks. While I don't condone this stupid thing another Trump voter said, I also sort of condone it. Never watched that show but it is amusing to think of Stacy Keach playing a gaymen on account of his usually roles. This reminds me of Stacy Keach when he was on Two And A Half Men. His character was still in the closet. The way he described the men he served with on the submarine. "Good, hard men. And the hardest of them all was..." who he ended up living with in a homosexual relationship.
