I would have thought they'd have gone the other way, allege that christianity is not a religion but a personal relationship with the baybee Jeeeeeebus and thus is allowed. It's a common reich wing christian refrain after all.I'm sure it's a "MAJOR POLICY" to this guy, but is it a major policy change? Has it ever been against Federal rules for religious workers to express their religious preferences in their workplace? This is the memorandum from OPM (Office of Personnel Management) announcing the policy, and even it suggests this is really, at bottom, nothing new, since it's based on Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. I don't think the most staunch advocate for SOCAS has ever suggested that it's against that principle for religious people to take part in government, only that they not obtrude their religion into it in a way that makes its beliefs or strictures incumbent on people who may not share it.
This, however, may be their out for disallowing Korans in the workplace-
I would not, in light of the present political insanity that seems to have infected the US, put it past TrumpCo to decide that Islam should be defined as just a "social, political, or economic philosophy" and move to exclude its expression on that basis.
So all this really boils down to is that it's the same sort of thing as when Trump crowed about how, thanks to him, people could finally say "Merry Christmas" again when nobody was ever told they couldn't.

US collects $29B in tariff revenues in July, setting new monthly record
Do they actually believe this?
Ungar-Sargon: Are you guys not psyched that he raised a hundred billion in tariffs?
Sellers: Who paid the tariffs?
Ungar-Sargon: The vast majority of the tariffs have been paid by foreign governments and corporations.

Mary Trump, trump's niece, and others have observed, trump has stopped coloring his hair and also stopped using his 'fake tan' facial makeup. See recent photo below:

I'm beginning to get the feeling trump is not going to last for the full four years of his presidency. That'll probably be the end of maga. It is a cult, most definitely, and there's no heir apparent. Once trump goes his sycophants will start fighting over the scraps but none of them have the draw with the magamutts the way trump does (or did).
Hope so anyway.![]()
Epstein reports? Nope, not happening....DEI? Removed. Woke? For losers. Men in women’s sports? Not here.
Common sense is back.
Junior will get utterly swallowed up by all the Trump-wanabees when Trump dies. The problem is as we saw in the 2024 primaries is that nobody has Trump's "it" factor where he keeps followers by being a rude, crude jerkass off a candidate. All of them try to be like him but fail is some obvious way.It is my opinion that Jnr. will attempt, at some point, to copy what trump has done, and will fail. The only reason I say 'at some point' is because he wouldn't immediately be able to step into the breach while the current cult adherents in the administration fight among themselves for influence.
I just don't think there is anyone as shameless as the current guy. There's nobody who has spent his whole life lying to himself and to others the way he has. Without him to threaten them, more moderate Republicans will see opportunities and maga will dissipate.
Tumbleweeds in his skull...Does Donald actually believe this?
When did the EU Parliament vote on this?
When did the member states all ratify it?
Trump on his EU trade deal: "The details are $600 billion to invest in anything I want. Anything. I can do anything I want with it."
He clearly doesn't know how or when elections work. Not a clue. Electoral seats are not limited-set Nobel Prizes to be distributed by the state governor. They don't get given retroactively. You have to earn them at an election...Donald approves of the Gerrymandering in Texas because he's entitled to five more seats.
Trump: "We have an opportunity in Texas to pick up five seats ... I got the highest vote in the history of Texas as you probably know. And we are entitled to five more seats."
Numbers are magic. The bigger the numbers, the more magical they are.So after lowering them 1500% he will now triple the prices?
Trump: "We'll be putting an initially small tariffs on pharmaceuticals. But in one year, one in a half years maximum, it's gonna go to 150% and then it's gonna go to 250%, because we want pharmaceuticals made in our country."
