The Truth about RFK Jr

It just seems unthinkable that someone like RFK. Jr. is in charge of HHS. Or that based on his performance to date, he remains in that position. Let's face it, he got the position because it was something he wanted and to get it, he agreed to drop out of the 2024 election and support trump. Those are his real qualifications.

I'm sure he's doing damage that will take years to fix after he's finally gone. It's horrible to see all this unfolding. Really horrible. :eye-poppi
You're right. All the avoidable deaths which result from Kennedy sabotaging medicine and substituting magic will be a part of the cost of getting Trump elected.

Several states have written legislation to make ivermectin available over the counter; this topic arose a few weeks ago, possibly in another thread. I was unaware that there was a similar effort toward making hydroxychloroquine available in this way. This represents a shift in policy, as far as I understand it.

At SBM Jonathan Howard compared Vinay Prasad's responses to raw milk versus vaccines against Covid-19, and found an inconsistency, as he saw it. He wrote, "When it comes to the COVID vaccine, Dr. Prasad feels cardiac MRI abnormalities are “not a benign clinical finding”. With COVID, he said these exact same MRI abnormalities are “massively overblown.” With raw milk, Dr. Prasad feels people have the right to bodily autonomy, and that a risk of 70 per 1,000,000 is “very low.” With the COVID vaccine, a risk of myocarditis of 27 per 1,000,000 only for young males, is enough for him to ban the vaccine for every healthy person under age 65. These people do not have the right to bodily autonomy. Even though the only risk I face from a vaccine is a sore arm, the government, specifically Dr. Prasad, feels entitled to impose his will on my medical freedom."

Episode #026 of The Know Rogan Experience breaks down Rogan's interview with RFK Jr. Among other things, it is illustrated how he went from a successful environmental lawyer who litigated polluters of the Hudson River to an antivax crank and medical non-expert.

The tl;dr of this is that he was giving a lecture one day and a group of well-dressed women approached him afterwards and asked "if you're so concerned about mercury in the rivers, why aren't you concerned about mercury in the vaccines?".

And there it is. His origin story, if you will.

At SBM David Gorski began by discussing RFK Jr's appearance on Tucker Carlson, as a jumping off point for a discussion of the system of compensation for those who believe that they were injured by vaccines. Dr. Gorski wrote, "Antivax lawyers really hate the Vaccine Court because they can only collect standard hourly rates, which means that they can’t gamble on obtaining huge settlements and taking their huge contingency fees out of those settlements. Here’s the thing. HHS controls what is on the list of table injuries and has a large role in recommending settlements to the Department of Justice, as the process for seeking compensation is described on the website for the NVICP..."

Here are some of RFK Jr's words, "You’re…you’re petitioning my agency, and it’s represented traditionally by the Department of Justice, and the lawyers in the Department of Justice. The leaders of it were corrupt, and they were…they saw their job as protecting the trust fund rather than taking care of people who made this national sacrifice, and we’re going to change all that, and i’ve brought in a team this week that is starting to work on that this week." Dr. Gorski wrote, "I hate to say it yet again, but I see very dark days ahead for public health...Do not underestimate RFK Jr.’s determination to take your vaccines away, to make it as difficult as possible for you or your children to access them, or to eliminate them altogether...All the grift that he’s engaged in around vaccines does not change that; it’s just icing on the cake for him, to make money crusading for what he already believes."

At Beyond the Noise Dr. Paul Offit wrote, "On April 15, 2025, Dr. Fiona Havers, an epidemiologist at the CDC, presented her findings to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP). Havers led the respiratory diseases team at the CDC that assessed the impact of viruses such as SARS-CoV-2, influenza, and respiratory syncytial virus (RSV). Havers’ presentation focused on the impact of Covid on children in the United States this past year. She found that at least 7,000 children were hospitalized with Covid. About 20 percent of those hospitalized were admitted to the intensive care unit, half were previously healthy, virtually none had been vaccinated, and 152 had died, most less than 4 years of age. The conclusion was clear; all children in the United States, whether they were previously healthy or not, should receive the primary series of Covid vaccines. For these reasons, the CDC recommended the Covid vaccine for all children." Dr. Havers later resigned, telling the NYT that “CDC processes are being corrupted in a way that I have never seen before. If it isn’t stopped, and some of this isn’t reversed, like, immediately, a lot of Americans are going to die from vaccine-preventable diseases.”

MAGA in a few years: NOBODY TOLD US!

It is stuff like this that has me holding the opinion that the likes of the EU should be playing a lot more hardball on tarrifs. Instead of trying to placate TACO, they should instead be going to the pharmaceuticals and saying to them, "look the two areas where Trump isn't chickening out as soon as somebody sneezes in his direction is in his healthcare plan* and in his education plan^. Because of both, there will be no way for you to exist in the US within ten years. Come back home". The simple fact of the matter is that by killing evidence based medicine and education, the regime is destroying both the market and the workforce that a lot of companies need.

*Because it's RFKs plan not TACOs.
^Because it's been the rrpublican plan dince Ray-Gun.

So yeah. RFK Jr. is a raging hypocrite, or a raging fool. Or both.

Kennedy touts ultra-processed meals he once called ‘poison’

Health secretary backs company criticized for selling junk-laden meals to Medicaid patients on ‘Make America healthy again’ tour
Robert F Kennedy Jr, promoted a company whose meals contain ultra-processed ingredients – which he has repeatedly railed against – on his “Make America healthy again” tour.

The US health secretary appeared at an enormous food plant in Oklahoma for a company called Mom’s Meals, which makes 1.5m “medically tailored” meals each week and ships them all over the country.

Companies including Mom’s Meals have been criticized for hijacking the “food is medicine” movement by providing “salty, fat-laden” meals to the ill and elderly, paid for by health insurance companies.

in a tucker carlson interview, rfk says we should stop trusting the experts and trust the tech companies ai to accelerate drug approvals. but that’s not the most ridiculous thing he said, it was this
Does he really think people will fall for this utter lie?
Yes he does, and sadly many will.
And this is perhaps the most unfortunate part:
“We need to stop trusting the experts, right?” Kennedy told Carlson. “We were told at the beginning of COVID, don’t look at any data yourself, don’t do any investigation yourself, just trust the experts. And trusting the experts is not a feature of science, it’s not a feature of democracy, it’s a feature of religion, and it’s a feature of totalitarianism.”

Kennedy went on to insist that it was important for everyone to “do your own research,” a common refrain among those in the so-called Make America Healthy Again movement.
(Was that a subtle jab at religion there? Did Carlson notice? I'm pretty sure that neither of them is a sincere believer in religion, although Tucker at least like to pretend to be to his audience.)

ETA: But OK, here again we have the Secretary of Health and Human Services for the United States telling people to "stop trusting the experts." It's astonishing.

There's nothing astonishing in a quack telling people not to trust the experts who are denouncing him for the fraud he is !

Humm, this is interesting: A new study, published in the peer-reviewed journal Cancers, finds that two or more jabs of the COVID vaccine lowers the chances of surviving cancer:

EXTRACT:

Researchers analyzing why pancreatic cancer survival rates at their Japanese hospital declined in 2022 and 2023, after years of steady increases, found a statistically significant connection between the number of mRNA doses taken by those patients and how quickly they died, even when considering "tumor, node, metastasis" (TNM) factors, surgery and chemotherapy.

Taking as little as the primary series and booster, which the Biden administration rushed through approval over the protests of its lead vaccine reviewers, is "associated with poorer overall survival in patients with PC," the Miyagi Cancer Center researchers concluded in the peer-reviewed journal Cancers, published by Swiss open-access publisher MDPI.

They emphasize that "high levels of IgG4, induced by vaccination, correlate with a detrimental prognosis in these patients" — another example of the so-called antibody class switch documented in global research, in which people with three or more jabs start to produce far more antibodies that tolerate rather than neutralize pathogens.

At SBM Jonathan Howard quoted an article that read in part, "Verdun, and her deputy, Rachael Anatol, were placed on administrative leave by Prasad, and escorted out of FDA headquarters on Wednesday, STAT reported exclusively. Verdun told staff she was not given an explanation for the firing. She declined to comment for this story." Nicole Verdun was the top gene therapy official until this June.

He quoted another article: "Later that month, [FDA commissioner Marty] Makary announced a voucher program that would shorten drug review times from 10 to 12 months to just one or two for companies whose products met certain criteria. He also laid out a new list of agency priorities in The Journal of the American Medical Association that, for drugs, seemed to come down to two things: faster reviews and more approvals. “Their paper reads like it’s straight from pharma’s playbook,” Ramachandran told me. “They criticized expedited drug reviews for years, especially with respect to Covid vaccines, saying that it turned the F.D.A. into a rubber stamp. But now they want to do the exact same thing for as many other drugs as possible.”

5. Limitations

This study was a retrospective, single-center cohort study comprising 96 cases of PC. However, the 79 cases in which anti-spike IgG4 was measured included specimens that were collected in approximately 3 months. The sample size of 96 cases was small, corresponding to 96 out of 272 PC patients treated during the same period, and all the PC cases with IgG4 were not measured. Therefore, there is a possibility of bias in the sample selected for IgG4 measurements. All the stages of PC were included in this study. The number of vaccination doses considered in this study did not account for subsequent vaccinations received after the blood collection or history of COVID-19. The study also did not consider potential confounding factors such as patient comorbidities, concurrent treatment, or vaccine type. The present study revealed discrepancies between the Gehan-Breslow-Wilcoxon test results and the multivariate analysis results regarding the effect of IgG4 on PC prognosis. Because of the small sample size, it is difficult to explain this discrepancy precisely. Further study is required to determine the impact of IgG4 on PC prognosis. Future research should incorporate a larger cohort size and investigate additional mechanisms involved in the immunity to SARS-CoV-2 following vaccination.

No it doesn't. You repeat the same error endlessly: failure to read your own source properly. Here's that report.

Conclusion

The Abue et al. study raises provocative questions about repeated COVID-19 mRNA vaccination and immune tolerance in pancreatic cancer patients. The evidence linking elevated IgG4, Treg infiltration, and reduced survival is compelling but preliminary. The authors call for expanded research into the long-term immunomodulatory effects of mRNA vaccines in cancer patients.

TrialSite

This is a provocative and technically sophisticated study that raises biologically plausible concerns. But until further validated, the findings should inform—not dictate—cancer care or vaccine policy. Scientists, clinicians, and public health authorities must approach this space with rigor, transparency, and restraint.
