Ed Israel/US Attacks Iran /Yet Another Country/Iran

Even if thats true, are you really gatekeeping what ethnicity the Iranian diaspora has to be in order for their protest of the current regime to be legit.

A bit rascist doncha think?
Kurds celebrating attacks against the Iranian govt, is a pretty poor example of "Iranians celebrating Israeli attacks!!"

Try again.

Personally, I think we have good reason to believe a lot of Iranians have mixed feelings about Israeli aggression. To believe that a lot of them blame the same government that oppresses them for inciting this further calamity in their country and their lives. To believe that many of them are not nearly as anti-semitic as their overlords, and sympathize with the Israelis in this conflict. To believe that many of them privately hope that these attacks against their overlords and oppressors will lead to regime change in their favor. To believe that some of them are quietly planning and plotting such a change. That some of them are even working with the Israelis to bring about conditions for such a change.

Personally, I think the Iranian people, like most other Muslim peoples, are sick of Israel killing Muslims. They know their government sucks but that's no excuse for Israel to bomb everyone who doesn't bow before their racist, supremacist agenda. And unfortunately, Israeli aggression makes it very difficult for an anti-regime movement to grow cuz they will be seen as helping Israeli interests.

Iranians also know that Bibi the Butcher is just doing this to stay in power and thwart his judicial problems and new elections.

Judging by Iranians I know. They hate the regime and want to see new rulers. Or perhaps a return to the Pahlavi monarchy.

A woman from Iran that I work with from time to time says she is not sorry to see that leaders of the government had been killed, but at the end of the day, Iran is her country so she said she supports the fight against Israel. She was also showing me AI pictures of burning buildings and saying, "Look we have destroyed Tel Aviv!" she said she was sorry about the Israeli civilians but not sorry to destroy those attacking the country.

I think that is a more likely common sentiment. If your country is being attacked, you want it to be defended no matter what your reservations or even outright hostility to the government is.

I except Americans who hate Trump would nonetheless declare their support for any military defence of the country if it was being attacked.

People on both sides of the spectrum are looking for a simple good guy bad guy scenario in this conflict.
There is none.
i dispise Bibi, and think the Ayatollah callling the shots in Iran are nutjobs.
From a pure military point of view,I amnot sure it is possible to take out Iran;s nuclear capabiltiy except at great cost.
I don't have a solution, but Ithink for the US to enter the war, which seems more likely by the hour, would be a huge mistake. For one thing, Itan has sort of restrained its terror proxies from direct attacks on American targets. If the us attakcs Iran, the proxies will be turned lose.
I am troubled by the rose colored glasses which some here view Iran through.
