Xenophobia and racism is strong with some.
Alas, that's also old stuff.
But thanx for calming poor herq's fears about the illegal immigration prob. Your two words beat my hundred-odd.
Xenophobia and racism is strong with some.
The vast majority of ICE detentions are very on target and discriminating. But mistakes happen.Indiscriminate:
deficient in discrimination and discernment
There is nothing racist about wanting to remove illegal aliens. Ask China, Mexico, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan. They do it all the time but you don't care, because you and others have a very racist double standard when it comes to immigration enforcement.Xenophobia and racism is strong with some.
It's a problem that most countries in the world recognize, but for some reason you only care when the USA tries to deal with it, because of your racist double standard when it comes to immigration enforcement.People are illegally in the USA? Old stuff. Is it a problem?...
What a pathetic and dishonest derail. I expect better of you.And you don't have a problem with Trump openly trying to steal an election.
Thank you for being honest that you don't think immigration enforcement is something that a society should be worried about. Good to know you are happy with your tax dollars being wasted, tens of billions of dollars on people who do not have the right to be here. Not much. Not compared to government and corporate corruption.
Okay so I guess that means you won't complain when States stop enforcing the Civil Rights Act? Gotcha. Then why does Trump do that? He obstructed government constantly.
Apparently you don't.Okay so I guess that means you won't complain when States stop enforcing the Civil Rights Act? Gotcha.
We benefit far more than it costs.Thank you for being honest that you don't think immigration enforcement is something that a society should be worried about. Good to know you are happy with your tax dollars being wasted, tens of billions of dollars on people who do not have the right to be here.
No, I was pointing out that you are easily as selective in the enforcement of American laws. Trump should have gone to prison for his acts in attempting to steal the 2020 election. But you're concerned about some poor immigrant trying to earn a living. What a pathetic and dishonest derail. I expect better of you.

Sounds plausible. But do we have numbers to verify that? I wonder how we can even identify, let alone calculate, the costs of undocumented immigration, especially in the present fraught atmosphere. Everybody has an opinion, and they all want everybody else to shut up.
I think numbers are already being tallied to measure the cost of a depleted supply of immigrant labor.
Howsomever: Surely the wealthiest society in all of history can handle this situation in a decent way. Even in an intelligent way.
Got nothing to do with the thread.Apparently you don't.
How about the Presidential elections Act? Or Article I, Section 9, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution?
And no Person holding any Office of Profit or Trust under them, shall, without the Consent of the Congress, accept of any present, Emolument, Office, or Title, of any kind whatever, from any King, Prince, or foreign State.
We are talking about ILLEGAL immigrants, bud.![]()
The Effects of Immigration on the United States’ Economy — Penn Wharton Budget Model
While some policymakers have blamed immigration for slowing U.S. wage growth since the 1970s, most academic research finds little long run effect on Americans’ wages. The available evidence suggests that immigration leads to more innovation, a better educated workforce, greater occupational specibudgetmodel.wharton.upenn.edu
There have been many studies showing significant economic benefits of immigrants, even illegal immigrants on the US economy.
It has EVERYTHING to do with the thread. If you believe that the United States should be a nation of laws, then you can't be arbitrary and capricious in their enforcement.Sounds plausible. Apparently, you are under the misapprehension that makes a difference. In fact it doesn't.We are talking about ILLEGAL immigrants, bud.
You're lying if you think I accept Trump breaking lawsIt has EVERYTHING to do with the thread. If you believe that the United States should be a nation of laws, then you can't be arbitrary and capricious in their enforcement.
Whatever...Apparently, you are under the misapprehension that makes a difference. In fact it doesn't.
They're only arresting innocent people they happen to find.Claiming that the Trump administration isn’t making indiscriminate arrests after acknowledging that they’ve arrested innocent people is some kicked-in-the-head-by-a-horse level of cognitive dissonance.
