Neither is the Trump Admin.

Point is MANY people in the USA felt that Obama was instituting Fascist or Communist rules and policies.

Just as many feel the same way about Tramp today.

And the people that felt that way about Obama don't have a clue what communism or fascism are.

I received my degree at the Henry M Jackson School of International Relations at the University of Washington. I studied political science and wrote my finals paper on fascism and how it related to pre-WW2 Italy and Germany. I spent years studying comparative governments and political systems.

Since you think those that described Obama as a fascist or communist have merit, please tell us what Obama actions were fascist and or communist. I'm dying for you to enlighten me.

You dont get it, do ya?

Lots of people believed that Obama had a Communist or Fascist agenda and policies. Probably at least 10% of the USA. That's 3.3 million people. I don't agree with their analysis but they believed it nonetheless.

What people believe and how many believe it really isn't relevant.

Trump's rhetoric is objectively fascist, though his actions arguably haven't reached that point yet (possibly because he has been held back in what he can actually do, at least so far).

My experience is that most people are ignorant. I don't care if 90% of the public thinks Obama had fascist or communist policies. Just like I don't care that many people use to think the earth was flat or that the Sun revolved around Earth. The number of people that may or may not think something has nothing to do whether it is true.

Obama's policies were neither fascist or communist. Not even remotely. But if you think they were, please tell me what policies. And why you think they were.

The point is that Trump has consistently expressed fascist viewpoints, from raging against vague enemies within the country and making veiled calls for political violence, to openly hoping for dictatorial powers.

Your argument isn't an argument, it's just a way to deflect from actual examples of fascism. No one can ever be fascist, because hey, anyone can call anyone else anything.
