Car Incident in Liverpool

Merseyside Police specifically asked people not to share footage being circulated on social media as it might prejudice a future trial. So whilst you can go to X-twitter and see the final footage of the car's journey, you won't find that same footage in the national press because of contempt of court laws.

.
And you can provide evidence for your claim?

Psst... Contempt of court applies to a guess what? A court! Why they had to name it so obscurely is a mystery.

A few accounts in the Guardian today suggesting, on the face of it, that police restrictions on vehicles may have been suboptimal.

Oh Christ. I could have done a better job of managing traffic in a long anticipated and huge public event.

Well, maybe 'honoured' is a better word.
No not a better word, that's a different matter - you said it would be a matter of "contempt of court" or the police had "cleared" the video.

You have not demonstrated either of your 2 claims to be correct.

A company director? Lives on a cul-de-sac*? House is worth how much?

Next thing you'll be telling me this immigrant terrorist trans woke assyligrant plays golf!

* I was just pondering, if the papers had decided to take the opposite tack, they'd have said he lives on a dead end street.

Jeez, yes, you were right earlier, this sounds and looks like a failure of marshalling and/or traffic management and this quote stands out:

“There were people having to move their feet so the wheels didn’t go over them and people with buggies just having to stand in front of them to get between them and the cars. The drivers looked scared stiff as well, they didn’t want to be there. It wasn’t the fault of the police there, but it was like a free-for-all.”

I can completely relate to those drivers. I do not like getting caught driving though crowds at all. It feels like a very vulnerable position to be in, while the people you drive past feel vulnerable too and resent your presence.

Did you not read it? It directly contradicts your claim. You've shown you were wrong about the police clearing the video that you linked to.

Now for the second claim you made i.e. "contempt of court".

Anything for that one?
