Split Thread ICE arrests mayor

Law still applies to almost every single govt agent and personnel.
BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

Up next you are going to argue kidnapping people and torturing them to death due to a clerical error was some kind of crime instead just one of those things that happens when you have properly functioning intelligence agencies.

I would not hang my hat on what Alina Habba thinks might be unlawful. There were a number of people pushing and shoving in the press. Why was only the Congresswoman charged? If Rep. McIver's conduct was so egregious, why was she invited back a short while later to finish her inspection?

Because republicans have a history of assaulting the press with out consequence?

Bush II. Of course Obama and such gave them a pass as it would be too embarrassing to the government to actually charge people for torturing detainees.
I agree they should have been charged and convicted for war crimes. Military justice is different than law in the USA.

Wasn't she disbarred in New Jersey for what she did to that Bedminster employee?

Civil disobedience has always been a vital part of any fight against injustices.
I fully agree. Civil disobedience is moral and just. Usually.

But you can still get arrested for it and only morons think you should not be.

The point is not to just get arrested. The rest of us are supposed to see that and want them not to have been arrested. To understand that the people executing the arrest have no legitimacy to do so. You have a role to play in civil disobedience as an observer.

If you interfere with an arrest by a police officer you are committing a crime.

Dont play the game of Civil Disobedience if you're gonna cry when you get busted.

She was not disbarred. The Bedminster employee sued the golf club and Habba. As part of the employee's prayer for relief, Habba was to be referred for discplinary action if the employee prevailed. The settlement of the suit extinguished that prayer.

Judge Kaplan threatened to refer her for bar discipline in the E. Jean Carroll case. In that case, Habba not only violated Judge Kaplan's orders, she displayed considerable incompetence in trial practice by not knowing how to enter evidence. She was also an attorney of record in Donald Trump's rambling lawsuit against Hillary Clinton for alleged interference in the 2016 election that was summarily dismissed. This is why I say I would not trust Alina Habba's understanding of law or trial practice.

Or really even try to protest legally, the cops don't really care see how they treated legal black lives matter protestors.
