I wouldn't want to be in Deanshanger this winter, when the grit boxes are empty because he's spent his entire budget on uniforms with suede boots and amphibious dustbin lorries.
Don't count on them learning that lesson. People thought the US electorate would learn a lesson from Trump's first term, and yet here we are.

Reform controlled English councils will move at speed to resolve that the *only* flags permitted to be flown on or in its buildings will be the Union Jack and the St George’s flag.
No other flags will be permitted to be flown on its flag-poles, balconies, reception desks or council-chamber walls.

I'm confusing memories. Sephardic Jews fleeing prosecution brought fried fish. Heugenot refugees are credited with bringing chips though some debate remains.
