Meh. They shouldn't have been trying to arrest the person there in the first place, regardless. Creating a Catch-22 ultimately harms compliance with the rules overall. The most essential point of compliance with the court is to allow them to stay, after all, and when ICE demonstrates that compliance will be used to prevent people from staying, that undermines the system all around.
