And no, they did not know what they were voting for. They were told that foreigners would pay for the tariffs, not Americans. And those who voted for him were stupid enough to believe it.

Mostly, but some of the GOP reps have really, really bought into the "we have a mandate" propaganda and are convinced they will be showered with praise if they do a town hall.

However, party leaders are not exactly jumping with joy over this possibility.

Whoever that is, it's not Biden, many party activists and donors contend. He's tethered to the 2024 defeat and, at 82, is a symbol more of the party's past than its future, they argue.

If you consider that his signature was able to increase the value of crappy, Chinese-made, <$200 guitars to an impressive $11,500, then it should be obvious that by autographing the Declaration of Independence he will increase it's current value of 'priceless' by at least 5,650%.

He would never sign it. There isn't enough room for him to make his signature bigger than John Hancock's, and Trump would never play second fiddle to anyone, especially someone from Massachusetts.

The Bidens would not necessarily have to be the "face of the party".

While you would not want them being front and center in the next election, Biden is an experienced politician and probably still has some influence in fundraising circles. Having the bidens work in a low profile capacity (contacting potential donors or stumping for candidates in areas with older demographics) might have some benefit.

He is insane. And senile. And the people behind him love that, they can manipulate him with just a few words in his ear.

If Biden had been like this, even Harris and his own cabinet would have declared him temporarily unable to fulfill his duties under Section 4 of the 25th Amendment, which could be renewed and possibly become permanent.

If you were playing chess with the Democrats, they would play by the rules, and if defeated they would accept it gracefully. If you were playing chess with the Republicans, they would burn the rulebook, throw the pieces across the room, beat you unconscious with the chessboard (wooden, of course), declare themselves World Chess Champions and threaten anyone who challenges it with death. They are like criminally and murderously insane 5-year-olds.
 
Shemp, when all my kids were 5 they could read, think and play games without throwing the pieces around when they lost, and they did not ◊◊◊◊ their pants either. Do not diss our erstwhile children by comparing them to that (expletive of your choice deleted). Any one of them would have made a better president. The electorate are like insane five year olds, voting for a stuffed animal.
