Trump's Second Term

Can you make this a solid -366 for the year given he and his sycophants are doing it on a daily basis ?
I'll add a -1 line for every instance that can be linked to on the web. For the moment I'm shying away from bulk numbering; I've only done it once for the firing of 17 inspectors-general, which I counted as -17. I'm also trying not to number according to predicted severity. An insult to a country's leader is a -1, as would an executive order to round up every illegal alien in the US and put them into concentration camps to be used a slave labour. (Actually, I'd count that as -2 because the slave labour part would be illegal.)

Should have added a ;)

Is doing the right thing for the wrong reason a positive nor a negative?

Executive order: Honoring Jocelyn Nungaray

From Wikipedia: "On June 16, 2024, Jocelyn Nungaray, a 12-year-old American girl, was sexually assaulted and killed in North Houston, Texas, United States. The case attracted national attention, as two undocumented migrants from Venezuela were charged with her murder."

The positive:
The Executive Order said:
Rename the area known as the “Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge” as the “Jocelyn Nungaray National Wildlife Refuge” and ensure that her life is permanently commemorated therein.

The negative:
The Executive Order said:
The prior administration’s immigration policies inexcusably endangered and caused enormous suffering within our Nation, including by causing the southern border to be overrun by cartels, criminal gangs, known terrorists, human traffickers, smugglers, unvetted military-age males from foreign adversaries, and illicit narcotics. These open-border policies are responsible for the horrific and inexcusable murders of many innocent American citizens at the hands of illegal aliens.

One of those innocent victims was Jocelyn Nungaray, whose life was tragically cut short on June 17, 2024, when she was brutally murdered in Houston, Texas. Two Venezuelan illegal aliens who were allegedly Tren de Aragua gang members and were apprehended near the border in early 2024 — and then released into the United States by the prior administration — have been charged with her murder.

While honouring her memory, he's also promoting distrust of foreigners while denigrating the Biden administration. He's using this tragedy to score political points.

But if I was one of her parents or knew her personally, I'd very much appreciate the move.

I like how Donald had a rant about Democrats not cheering or clapping for him ending all disease and bringing peace to the entire globe if he ever did it.

Trump claims he’s going to forge the most dominant civilization ever on earth and he was saved in Butler by god to make America great again.

[citation needed]
This is my fifth such speech to Congress, and once again, I look at the Democrats in front of me, and I realize there is absolutely nothing I can say to make them happy or to make them stand or smile or applaud, nothing I can do. I could find a cure to the most devastating disease, a disease that would wipe out entire nations, or announce the answers to the greatest economy in history or the stoppage of crime to the lowest levels ever recorded, and these people sitting right here will not clap, will not stand and certainly will not cheer for these astronomical achievements. They won’t do it no matter what, five, five times I’ve been up here. It’s very sad, and it just shouldn’t be this way.

Trump criticizes Democrats for not applauding for achievements of his he’s making up on the fly

Yes, this was insane. Trump was complaining that the Democrats would not applaud for anything he does, and then imagines himself inventing a cure for a disease that would wipe out entire nations... blah blah blah.... and even if he did those things, the Democrats wouldn't applaud.

Hey, Doofus! Forget about fictional diseases and the fictional lack of respect you would get for your fictional cure, and recognize that there is an actual disease that was actually eradicated and the guy who genuinely is responsible for turning this eradicated disease into a new epidemic is someone who you made the Secretary of HHS. Do you think maybe THAT is the kind of thing that leads to a lack of applause?

Trump: It has been stated by many that the first month of our presidency, is the most successful in the history of our nation. And what makes it even more impressive is that, you know the number two is? George Washington
