Trump's Second Term

Michael Cohen descibed in his book exactly how Trump operates. He bought the cheapest paint to repaint a motel or two he had bought. Then he sued the paint maker, with Trump getting the best grade of paint for free.

The Zelisnkyys of the world are just among paint manufacturers and other contactors Trump stiffed. Because he is bigger. he is going to order the world by bullying to submission. Next up: pull all the troops out of South Korea or give us something.

This is what We The People want to see!"

Very well said.

I have never been in love with the Ukraine. They have a shameful, fascist past. But Zelenskyy has proven to be a fine leader. I don’t think I’m the only one who wanted him to land a punch on Trump, Vance or ideally both.

better than having a shameful, fascist present.

If (and it's a huge if) they have a US controlled kill switch then they're just so much scrap metal if Russia attacks.

Even if not, Europe is at least dependent on the US for parts and upgrades. When the US withdraws that support because Europe is now their enemy, they're just so much scrap metal.

Anyone want to buy a Mirage or Gripen ?

A "US controlled kill switch"

What is this a cheap spy movie?

Don't be daft.

Or a Rafale or a Typhoon plus there are several new aircraft under development.

What I want to know is: what on earth made a coward who managed to weasel his way out of national service think he could bully the leader who stood firm in his capital city...
Because the uber-wealthy (or those who think they are) are just that deluded. For all intents and purposes they don't live in the same world as everyone else and have no concept of the proposition that everything might not turn out great for them.

We need to cancel that order!

Why?

Yeah, they even have bunkers for when things go nuclear.

Yes there are but without US support, the F35 does, in retrospect, look like a poor purchasing decision - though IMO no reasonable person would think that the US would be the UK's enemy and Russia's ally.

I mean even as the board's Cassandra, I never thought that the US would fall this far or so quickly. I thought that support for Russia would be under the table and take months or even years to happen not out in the open in a matter of weeks.

Stop talking bollocks. Trump will be out in a few years.

F-35s will be in service for a good few decades yet.

Just as predicted, maga weirdos will see that debacle as a show of 'Murica first tough guy strength, and trumpologist/trumpsplainers will call it Eleventy D chess instead of the disgrace that it was. There will be some half-hearted handwringing in the press for a few days and this will be forgotten, or rather eclipsed by the withdrawal from NATO, which morons like Madge will praise as well.

I wonder what Putin has on Donnie Diapers; I wonder if Trump swallowed or spat.

Circa 2019 Finland in anticipation of making a NATO application put out a tender to supply its future defence aircraft. The Swedes offered their SAAB-Gripen at a favourable price, amongst others, but Finland went for the much more expensive US F-35's. Budget: US$12bn.

The F-35 Programme, a significant milestone for the Finnish Defence Forces (FDF), has advanced well in the past year. The first F-35A fighters of the Finnish Air Force (FINAF) are in production Linkki toiselle sivustolleat Lockheed Martin and its partners, the construction of the F-35 infrastructure is underwayLinkki toiselle sivustolle and the Finnish Defence Forces have been authorised to supplement the F-35 weapons suite with missiles including JASSM-ERLinkki toiselle sivustolle and AARGM-ERLinkki toiselle sivustolle. https://valtioneuvosto.fi/en/-/1951... first F-35A, JF,at Ebbing Air Base, Arkansas.

COLOGNE, Germany — Top Swedish defense officials have thrown their weight behind Saab’s bid for the multibillion-dollar HX fighter competition in Finland, arguing the Gripen aircraft would enable unprecedented cooperation between the two countries in thwarting a hypothetical attack by Russia.

The Finnish race is one of two big-ticket aircraft competitions in Europe — Switzerland being the other — where major vendors from both sides of the Atlantic are jockeying for position. Finland has requested final offers by the end of April from Airbus for the Eurofighter; Dassault for the Rafale; Boeing for the Super Hornet; Lockheed Martin for the F-35; and Saab for the Gripen E/F. https://www.defensenews.com/global/...-leaders-push-saabs-gripen-offer-for-finland/

We can no longer trust the USA. We should boycott their goods and services.

Trump may be out but the GOP will still be around and their entire focus is keeping hold of power and seeing through Project 2025.

Once that's done and the Overton window has shifted, project 20xx will be even more extreme.

There's definitely compromat on Lindsey...perhaps photographs/videos of some dalliance with rentboys (or whatever America variation of those)?

They may have hacked the computers of his dermatologist and have pictures of his "ladybugs".

For those that don't get the reference, you may not want to search that while eating.

So before yesterday there's no deal (mineral rights for security guarantees) and Zelenskyy needs the sec. guar., so he goes to the U.S., against standard procedure (the deal should already be in place before travel) because he has no choice, he has to try a hail mary. But the bullying of Trump and Vance kill it.

But why do the media interview in the oval office, from Trump's perspective? Surely he must have planned for Vance to go on the attack, or at least allowed once it started. Did they hope to bully Z. into submission in public? So Z. failed at his hail mary, and Trump failed to bully Z into submission, to the detriment of all - no mineral rights deal, and no security guarantees.

For them it was a win/win.

Zelenskyy caves and they have their one-sided deal - happy days

He doesn't and they look like big men protecting the US to the GOP.
