Because the other side was so polite in their messaging....
I feel like one of the things the Democrats did wrong was never really step away from the "deplorables" messaging. Based on voter turnout, even a lot of progressives are getting tired of the way johnny karate and others insist on framing things.
The Republicans don't seem to be calling their own voters deplorable if they don't fall completely in line as much as the Democrats doBecause the other side was so polite in their messaging....
Nonsense. They will go so far as to threaten death of those who don't fall in line. STFU.The Republicans don't seem to be calling their own voters deplorable if they don't fall completely in line as much as the Democrats do

I'm pretty sure another thing the Democrats did wrong was assume that tu quoque would be a solid strategy for getting much-needed votes.Ah yes, the "You said mean things and hurt my feelings" gambit. Not as compelling post-"They're eating the pets" though, is it?
Nonsense. They will go so far as to threaten death of those who don't fall in line. STFU.
You are right, they won because they suppressed votes, spent decades building a misinformation infrastructure, demonized and denigrated the opposition, called anyone that didn't vote in line "RINO", threatened people with death, and convinced people that laws don't matter. The Republicans didn't win because they were making death threats to their own voters, they won because the Democrats are not shy about publicly calling their own potential voters deplorable
The Democrats did nothing wrong then I guessYou are right, they won because they suppressed votes, spent decades building a misinformation infrastructure, demonized and denigrated the opposition, called anyone that didn't vote in line "RINO", threatened people with death, and convinced people that laws don't matter.
Because that's exactly what I said....The Democrats did nothing wrong then I guess

What do you mean? Nothing in what I quoted mentioned DemocratsBecause that's exactly what I said....
I'm pretty sure pushing the message that they weren't fighting dirty was yet another thing the Democrats did that cost them much-needed votes. If anything, the Democrats lost because they didn't fight dirty, like the GOP does.
Prove it.I'm pretty sure pushing the message that they weren't fighting dirty was yet another thing the Democrats did that cost them much-needed votes.
Bro. You lost the election. The time for me to prove anything to you is long past. I'm just here to see if you come up with anything useful in terms of practical lessons for the midterms.Prove it.
Charlamagne Tha God Urges Dems to Redirect Their Trump Energy (The Daily Show on YouTube, Feb 4, 2025 - 8:27 min.)
"There's no way in hell I should be caring about what rappers do more than I care about what my elected officials do." Charlamagne Tha God and The Daily Show writer Ashton Womack question the Democrats' strategy regarding Trump and urge them to get focused.
LOL. The Dems tried to remove Trump, RFKjr, and Stein from various state ballots. If anything, the Democrats lost because they didn't fight dirty, like the GOP does.
Following constitutional law is not "playing dirty." Only a moron would think so.LOL. The Dems tried to remove Trump, RFKjr, and Stein from various state ballots.
Midterms are usually about how well the incumbent administration is doing; lessons from 2024 might not be particularly helpful since we've switched out who lives in the White House and bears the brunt of national malaise.I'm just here to see if you come up with anything useful in terms of practical lessons for the midterms.
