I am aware of a lot of International Organizations having to fire experts because they depend on US government funding.
This is expertise lost that will take a long time to restore.
 
Today's press conference just showed the world that The Party has now implemented the Ministry of Truth. Not in name, but in action.
It's pretty obvious that questions were vetted to cue well-rehearsed answers full of lies.
 
trump's freezing of federal funding has shut off access to Medicaid for providers across the US. Just a shame it's not just the MAGATS who are getting hurt by it.
 
He now wants to clear the Palestinians out of Gaza. Has anyone suggested resettling them in Texas?

Organized in June, the Federal School Safety Clearinghouse External Advisory Board included school safety experts, parents of children killed in school shootings, school district leaders and advocacy groups, EdWeek reported. The board held its first meeting in October and was in the process of establishing its priorities.

Three board members confirmed to EdWeek that they received a Department of Homeland Security memo notifying them of the plan to terminate the current board members as “future committee activities will be focused solely on advancing our critical mission to protect the homeland.”

If it's any consolation the incidence of school shootings will drop drastically once public schools are no longer operating.

Hmm? To listen to the "wisdom" of a Trump supporting co-worker before the election, his stance was basically, "The economy is already FUBAR! Trump may not be able to fix it after how much Biden f'd it up, but that wouldn't be his fault."

It's probably needless to say, but I don't respect the expressed political opinions of my Trump supporting co-workers very much.

Another thing being reported (and thus possibly apocryphal) is that white women are being removed from positions because they were ostensibly DEI hires for positions for which better qualified men were allegedly turned down. Of course. Sexual orientation has long been part of that, too, though it's less easily identifiable. It would be very unsurprising for the Trump Administration to try to circumvent other explicitly banned reasons to discriminate, too, frankly. "Muslims allowed in the government in Christian America? Not on my watch!" comes to mind immediately.
