Predict Trump's first revenge prosecutions!

Sadly, I believe most of MAGA will support the prosecution of any and all media outlets that dare criticize The Party, including comedy shows like SNL. To them, freedom so speech only applies to what they like to hear.

How about possibly in this order

  1. Jack Smith
  2. Alvin Bragg
  3. Liz Cheney
  4. Mark Milley
  5. Michael Cohen
I'm not convinced he'll go after Hillary, Kamala or Joe since they were never in his camp or the republican camp.

I don't think even a Trump pick would entertain a suit based on "Waa! He said mean things about me!" Especially coming from a person whose whole political platform nay lifestyle has been, and continues to be, saying mean things about others.

There are plenty such suits in front of various judges, including non-trump picks. He added another one against the New York Times just the other day.

I imagine any legal saber rattling would in part be intended to warn anyone who might in the future have something to say against their metaphorical pussy being grabbed.

Trump has always been big on filing Nuisance lawsuits. Stadard tactic of him long before he got into plitics. Standard tactics. Most fo them fthrown out of court at a early stage. Main idea was to froce concessions from his foes not so much because the had a chance to win, but because of the legal costs of fighting his suits.

Trump uses nuisance lawsuits as a form of intimidation.

When he gets sued, he usually has more money for lawyers, appeals, etc. which usually forces the plaintiff to make a deal that is undisclosed. That allows Trump to claim he 'won' the lawsuit.

Yep, he'll use the DOJ in the same way, as he did in his first term.

Given that repug judges have turned out to be a bunch of Roland Freiselers, I wouldn't bet on that outcome.

You seem to be expecting consistency from Dump for some reason. You know better, we've known what he's like for eight years.

There is actually a level of consistency to Trumpy: If there's a decision to be made, whatever he thinks is best FOR HIM AT THAT TIME is what he will likely decide. It's always, without exception, all about him personally.

It's the anonymous Heidrichs and einsatzgruppen behind Donny that are the real problem.
I would not be at all surprised if there's a few modern day Scholls or Bonhoeffer's* in the near future. As I said elsewhere on this forum the upcoming regime will either eat itself inside six months or have a hand-picked slate of election winners for the next mid-terms.

*I'm always amazed at how the christian right in the US champion him, given his views and his abandonment of christianity by the end. Niemöller would be a far better champion for them, given he was an autocratic monarchist.

Not lawsuits against people for betraying him but having investigation done by the IRS on their target and their families, investigations for whatever they can find somewhere in their life. Looking at every aspect of the person’s life and their families. I would suspect also the manufacturing of treasonable 'acts' with the help of Russia.

Thing is, Biden could with literally a single signature put absolutely everyone Trump is upset with out of the legal reach of Trump AG : just pardon them for all and everything remotely connected to Trump.
And while he's at it, pardon everyone or the crime of being undocumented in the country.

After that he can pardon Hunter.
