Cont: 2024 Election Thread part 3

I wonder what Gtizzly Bear has to say about the recent Cabinent choices, since he has been pushing the
Don't Listen to what Trump says, look at what he does" line. Not that, IMHO< what Trump has done is not bad enough.

Even the National Review. the foremost conservative website, is appalled by Trump's cabinent choiches.

Report already circulating that many In Trump's transition team thought that RFK would not be a good choiice for health.
I got a feeling that RFK choices for postions in Health is going to be truly scary.
It is war on Science Based Medicines.

Any bets on the number of polo, diphtheria, whooping cough, typhoid, measles, ect.. cases two years from now?

i'm more worried about things like moldy aspirin or cross contaminated baby formula

Whooping cough and measles are already on the rise due to distrust in vaccines spawned by ass wipes like RFKJr.

I guess you've missed all the reasons I and others have stated he's unfit for office for the last few years: "inciting Jan.6, continually lying thousands of times, insulting and disparaging anyone who dares defy him, and handwaving away being held liable for sexual assault and being a 34X convicted felon." Or have you missed all this and the numerous discussions of his narcissistic personality disorder?

Perhaps one of the most revealing points, I think, is that Trump is an absurdly massive national security disaster, in and of himself, before even touching on his staff selections. Trump also makes a total mockery of all the higher principles that the Republican Party has pretended to care about.

Frankly, that Republican support for Trump is virtually unaffected after he casually revealed top secret information to Russia, literally stole nuclear secrets, among other highly classified information, and left it unsecured where lots of spies could access it, as well as botched the COVID response to a corrupt extreme while actively working to deceive them is perhaps more of an indictment of them than him, though. Trump is what he is, after all, and the Republican Party knew what he was from the very start. So long as the Republican Party backs Trump and twists themselves into pretzels to try to excuse his wrongdoings, they're just proving that their so called principles are naught but lip service.

He's behaving exactly as expected. He's rewarding toadies and settling scores.

He doesn't care about donors because he knows they'll donate to the GOP regardless.

He's no more insane than he's ever been IMO.
He's not insane, he just has extreme Narcissistic Personality Disorder. He knows exactly what he's doing but believes he is a 'stable genius' and is therefore incapable of making a bad decision.

For a while I've been thinking about Trump 47 on a scale from 0 to 10 with zero being mostly incompetent, gets little done and 10 being destroys the USA as we know it.

All along I thought it would probably be a 3 or a 4. But now its more like a 7. And if he can get this trifecta of incompetence confirmed, make that an 8.

The one bit of good news is that the Senate chose Thune and he has not agreed to the use of recess appointments. So maybe, just maybe some of the saner GOP senators will do more than just make a concerned face and actually turn these imbeciles away.

Just wait. Soon they'll be posting paraphrase or just out and out cut-n-pasta from their fave trumpologists.
All too possibly. But then, I've literally watched Republicans declare that their main objective is to try to sabotage the economy for the sake of trying to hurt people financially and heard people try to then say that they're voting for that Republican because they trust them to help them financially.

Thing is now messing with thinks that GOP conservatives actully care deeply about And all it will take is four or five votes to block a nomination.
ALso Senate have six year terms whichmeans they are not quite as vulnerable as House members are to being primaried.
I doubt it will be a seven. Maybe 5 or 6. In the end, a lot of Trump;s policies will not be like by a lot who voted for him
And I don't know how much trump really cares about a lot of his policies. It is all about him..
